Feinstein offered the amendment in December, a day after an extremist couple killed 14 people in San Bernardino, California, but the Republican-run Senate rejected the proposal on a near party-line vote. He said the compromise also will allow a vote on an amendment to expand background checks.”

Everyone gun show I’ve been to has vendor tables doing the required checks. Years ago, I saw ‘something’ going on in the parking lot, but the LEOs swooped-in quickly and put an end to it.

Another Freeper pointed out yesterday that there are no background checks, waiting periods, or any other restrictions when it comes to buying a senator or representative.
The US Senate is a cesspool.
I thought it was only spending bills that had to originate in the House but it’s been a while since I really thought about it.
Definitely time to call all the senators to stop this illegal bs once and for all!
