I'm pretty sure even the current crop of spineless (with a few exceptions) Republicans in congress know better than to pass that.

It might be tantamount to causing armed insurrection. ;-)

If Hilliary manages to get elected, of course all bets are off. It's a reminder of how much rides on this election.

My Dad had a bolt action 30-06 that was a fine rifle. Heavy though it had great range with power to drop the target.

Simple straight forward weapon to learn and become proficient with. I’ve never wanted anything else besides my pump. I imagine your dad had a special affection for his bolt action.
