Gibberish. Your words are nothing but ill-defined buzzwords.

So which are gibberish? Which are ill-defined buzzwords? What is your standard for making such a judgement? Enlighten us.

Are you trying to seriously engage in a debate, or are you breezily dismissing jpsb because his answers are making you uncomfortable? Or perhaps you just don't care to consider arguments contrary to your own?

Did you stop reading after #2?

Trump has changed his stance and is now saying the same thing that Cruz has been saying from the start....that we should be banning people from certain areas - not who believe in a certain religion.

See, Cruz takes time to think about the things he is saying. He weighs all of the possible implications and then announces his thoughts on the matter. Trump shoots from the hip without paying any mind to how his words will be received or if they may be slightly off target. This is why Trump eventually realized that Cruz was right and adopted HIS policy.

I don’t get it.

Trump initially said he wanted to ban Muslims.

Ted disagreed and said we should ban people from certain countries.

Now Trump says he wants to ban people from certain countries.

What part am I getting so wrong that it is funny?

Trump originally wanted to ban all Muslims. He was told the POTUS can’t do that; the POTUS can only ban people from countries that he deems to pose a threat. So Trump heeded the info, and now speaks of banning people from Muslim countries.

Here’s the bottom line. Only Trump has said that Islam is the problem. Not radical Muslims, not Syrian Muslims: Islam. He’s a smart, creative and driven man. If elected, he’ll find a way to ban Muslims. Believe that or don’t—I couldn’t care less. But that is the bottom line: a man who gets it vs all the rest.

“The legislation I have introduced, which I would urge this body to take up, would impose a 3-year moratorium on refugees coming from any nation where ISIS or Al Qaeda or radical Islamic terrorists control a substantial portion of the territory.”

Except those that originally came from those areas but have passports from Europe would get to come in.

“Actually, I think you’ll see that Trump is agreeing with Cruz. Senator Cruz has been saying this long before Trump started.”

Then why was Cruz so opposed to the moratorium Trump talked about?

Nope, Trump said it first - just like he talked about deportation and a wall first.

M2T strikes again.

Which is fine, if he would give credit for copying.

“I am thinking of making white flags, looks like we will need them in the future, there is money to be made.”

There used to be a French patent on those. Yes, you will clean up here, since we are adopting the worst of Europe.

“Trump says “until we find out what’s going on” makes more sense (than anything Ted Cruz).”

Trump knows exactly what’s going on, but is too savvy to say it now.

Like Ben Carson was leaving the race?

Like Trump was to blame for the Brussels attack?

If those were well-thought out, he’s got problems.

Bingo.

He’s smart enough to wait until elected to speak more of it, but the source of the problem is in the Qur’an. Whether a religion is really faith-based and doesn’t diametrically oppose our Constitution will be instituted as a test.

" Cruz was for not banning Muslims before he was for Banning muslims."

You are describing Trump, not Cruz. It is Trump who does not have the word "Muslim" in his immigration policy document. I also quoted Trump THIS WEEK stating he wants to ban immigrants from "from areas of the world when there is a proven history of terrorism". Note.....The word "Muslim" is not there, either. This has been Cruz's policy and that of the hated GOPe all along. It's good to see Trump joining them.

"just like he talked about deportation and a wall first."

The 1200 mile Texas border with Mexico is defined by the Rio Grande River. Where do you think Trump's wall will go there? Or will that be Trump's "Beautiful, Wide Gate"?

The same place the RINO congress voted years ago to put a fence. but never did.

you don’t think a country that put a man on the moon can build a wall?

Even little economically depressed Hungary out up a fence to keep out the Muslim ‘refugees’.

Ps. It will go the same place Cruz’s wall would go - the wall Cruz talked about after hearing about one from Trump.

Before that, Cruz was for a fence. Ask him where he planned to out it.
