Trump campaign calls for $100K in donations by the end of the day

The Donald Trump campaign has sent its first "emergency" fundraising email to supporters Saturday, seeking to raise at least $100,000 by the end of the day.

That request follows a multimillion dollar ad blitz launched by likely general election rival Hillary Clinton this week. "Right now we're facing an emergency goal of $100,000 to help get our ads on the air," the email said. "We need your contribution by 11:59 P.M. Tonight."

"Crooked Hillary is about to invade your TV with ads attacking Mr. Trump. But we're preparing to fight back," it reads, adding that the campaign plans to attack Clinton over her role in Benghazi and the FBI probe into her use of a private email server while secretary of state.

This has a ‘fishy’ smell to it...I only donate to the Make America Great site, which is Trump’s site with all his information on it...

Why do I get the feeling this is a scam? Because when something doesn’t fit right with me, it is....

Trump has 1,532 delegates, need what, 1232 to clinch? The Art Dealer is not going to lose at the convention. He has a pocket full of aces.

I agree. I gave a small donation, at the website, as a thank-you birthday present. I wonder how much Trump received in birthday present donations.

RNC solicitations are trying to make it sound like it's for Trump. I don't trust the Senate Conservative Fund anymore. The only way to make sure the money isn't used against us is to donate at the official Trump website.

During the primaries he did self fund. The corrupt fat corps did not back him like they did your guy.

Did ya want Trump to spend every dime of his own money for the campaign in the general while no one else does the same?

Paying for publicity to Donald Trump is like paying for sex, and what does that make the advertisers?

Nice to know you have been paying so little attention. That self funding pledge applied to the Primary. Either support Trump or admit you want Hillary. The rest of this crap is media window dressing.

I got one from him today, it said the following:

“Ichabod:

When I first announced my candidacy, I told you together we could Make America Great Again. I am committed to that and will do everything I can to make this happen.

Unfortunately, time after time the media twists my words and tries to use them against me. They are comfortable with the status quo. They like their ability to determine what matters and what doesn’t matter. And they like controlling our elected leaders. I want to promise you something, regardless of what they say or write about me, I will not cower to the media elite or anyone else. I will keep fighting to Make America Great Again.

The fact is we can’t afford to keep on going as we have been going. America simply cannot afford it. We are $19 trillion in debt. Our so-called allies take advantage of us every chance they get. We do not have secure borders. We do not take care of our Veterans. Our tax code is a disaster. Politicians in Washington have failed us.

When I am elected we’re going to be tough, smart and we’re going to do things right. I just have one request; will you stand with me as I continue the fight?

MAKE AN IMMEDIATE CONTRIBUTION:
CONTRIBUTE $25 NOW >>>
CONTRIBUTE $45 NOW >>>
CONTRIBUTE $75 NOW >>>
CONTRIBUTE $100 NOW >>>
CONTRIBUTE $250 NOW >>>
CONTRIBUTE ANOTHER AMOUNT >>>

Your support will go a long way in helping me take on everyone who doubts us. We will ensure every parent can raise his or her children in peace and safety. We will make America rich again. We will make America safe again. We will make America great again. Join me in this flight!

Thank you for your support!

Donald J. Trump”

Note, there is nothing in there about must have 100K today.

FO

Thank you for your generous donation of $100. Your support matters now more than ever because the stakes are so high.

We must stop Crooked Hillary from ruining our country. We must thwart the slew of bias and lies the mainstream media is feeding America. We MUST win BIG in November and Make America Great Again! Your donation will help us accomplish this — and more.

Together, our voices are becoming louder and clearer, representing a bright new future for our great nation full of more opportunities for everyone, not just a select few.

We thank you for your continuous support,

Team TRUMP

Trump raised about 6 million for the vets and has given millions to those in need over the years.

How much did your candidate give?

Yes, I just did too. He may have more money than I do but he is out there taking the flak for America and for me. The least I can do is show solidarity. If Trump is defeated it’s nightfall in America.

“Trump could raise $130 m just by asking his primary supporters for $100 each”

I think your math is wrong. Trump got 13 million votes. 130 million would take only $10 from each voter. $100 each would be $1.3 billion.

He did, he funded the primary. For the general he is expected to help raise money for the downstream candidates in return for being the Republican nominee.

You know this I’m sure, you just want to throw a bit of mud. Better to think what will happen to America if Hillary wins. With that in mind what is your excuse for trying to weaken the Republican nominee? Or are you just trolling?

It gets distributed to all the Republicans that are running.

Running for what? Are we not talking about the presidential nominees campaign?

Our election process must be changed dramatically as Trump already eluded to. From these corrupt caucuses of collusion to these deceptive delegates selling their souls for cash, to the fat corps bankrolling the corrupt politicians campaigns.

This is no GD way to run an election.

He's a billionaire.

He's going to need at least $400 million to even compete with Hillary.
