Trump affirms backing gun ban for those on terror watch list
Washington Examiner ^ | June 18, 2016 | John Siciliano

Donald Trump reaffirmed his stance on restricting individuals on the terror watch list from being able to purchase firearms, despite Republican objections.

"We have to make sure that people that are terrorists or have even an inclination toward terrorism cannot buy weapons, guns," Trump told ABC's White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl in an interview that will air Sunday on "This Week."

Sure, lay down, roll over. That’s exactly what the Left is expecting you to do. May your chains rest lightly upon you and.. you know the rest.

With all due respect, Sir, what makes you think Trump can be FReeped? Does he have a listening post that nobody’s been made aware of?

I can’t support Trump on this. No fly lists are beyound unconstitutional and linking them up with preventing people from buying guns is lame.

The whole thing is as phony as a tubman twenny. Trump slipped recently when he said he was here to protect “your 2nd amendment right”. Not “our’s”, of course. Him and Kill are play acting and Kill will bring one home for womyn kind. Last I checked kill was three to one under on the betting sites which is a good payoff. I have a standing wager that Kill Dog is our next president. One Benjamin says my Kill Dog is as assured of this presidency as she is assured of never being prosecuted, for anything ever. Bet me now! Give me your money, people who love Kill Dog’s employee and think he’s on their level!

How many does Trump have to say that all law abiding citizens will have a nat’l right to carry? People need to see all of his speeches. He adds a point here and there. Those who follow him know the context in which he said it.

Yes, it does, because, you see, Cruz is the Zodiac Killer, so there, and he’s a gun-grabber on top of that.

No need for that sort of talk, the facts are fairly plain regarding Cruz:

  1. He participated in Treason, along with the rest of the Senate. (Proof/reasoning of the open-and-shut case in this PDF.)
  2. He's proved himself to be a fairly incompetent lawyer; despite all his talk (and the rest of the Congress) about repealing/defunding/nullifying the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare), they failed to do the obvious thing: pass a resolution that the ACA is unconstitutional under Roe v. Wade, which ruled that there existed a right to privacy [from government] of medical files. (IOW force the USSC to decide which to get rid of: socialized medicine, or abortion.)
  3. Aside from all the above, his run for President despite his obvious ineligibility proves his oath of office, which is to the Constitution, a lie as the natural born citizen clause was added after the presiding officer of the Constitutional convention (George Washington) received a letter from John Jay saying:
Permit me to hint, whether it would not be wise and seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government, and to declare expressly that the Command in chief of the American army shall not be given to, nor devolve on, any but a natural born Citizen.
Thus, if Cruz is eligible then all that is needed to confer NBC is a single NBC parent regardless of birthplace -- this means that if one of the the first NBCs moved to England and married the crown princess their son would be eligible to be president, in addition to being in line for the throne.

And Comey of the CIA has said that orders come from the top, insinuating that Obama/Jarett are tying their hands. That would be true of the FBI as well.

If your candidate comes out OK with messing with 2A even before the convention, taking the NRA Left before he even has to, you have a problem on your hands.

When will you give that nonsense a rest and begin to look objectively at the only person standing between us and evil personified?

Trump's suggestion would allow government to use this list like they used the IRS to attack conservatives all over the country. Being placed on this list would deprive you of your constitutional rights and force you to petition the government for removal AFTER the fact. Are you in favor of denying American citizens due process? If so, what other parts of the Constitution are you in favor of denying us without due process and then forcing us to plead with government to get our rights back?

Your blind support of anything this candidate says, especially in this case, is much more worrisome than anything any cruzer could come up with. Maybe you should try some balanced and objective thinking before going for someone else's throat. That knee jerk is going to hurt you (or knock some sense in to you.) We're on the same side whether you realize it or not.

I missed how this became a birther thread, even though SCOTUS refused to hear his NBC case on May 17. This is a 2A thread.

Whatchu more worried about?

"We have to make sure that people that are terrorists or have even an inclination toward terrorism cannot buy weapons, guns," Trump [said]

Who decides? Given that Obama and the DOJ considers veterans, "bitter-clingers," and outspoken conservatives and libertarians as either terrorists or potential terrorists, Trump really needs to re-think that position.

If our intelligence agencies weren’t tainted — even overridden — by liberal politics, we wouldn’t even be having this discussion.

I’m waiting for the inevitable ‘purge’ of the ‘NeverTrumpers’ when a certain person severely lacking in gray matter and reproductive organs gets mad enough at people pointing out glaring facts.

Hope someone close to hi. Is reading this. Will not bother to send in my ballot if he messes with the RTKBA.

Lay down, roll over? WTH are you talking about?

Trump has already said he is meeting with the NRA Brass. His answer was generic and purposely lacking detail.

Anything different in his response would have resulted in a long drawn out back and forth, which is exactly why he was asked the Gotcha Question in the first place.

Like I said, any other answer results in “Trump supports Terrorists” Headlines.

Check this out. The devil is in the details.
