I did notice that the SEAL did say he had used an AR-15 in the war on terror. Uh, probably NOT an AR-15. M4A2 perhaps. With a 3 position switch too. But they do look a lot alike. LOL! But, his point is well taken.

I didn’t see it as “a rant,” and I don’t think he “trashed” anyone.

He simply spoke the truth, clearly and plainly. He did refer to Hillary by name, but he didn’t rant or rave, or call her names. He pointed out that she had never used an AR-15 herself, but still insists on being surrounded by armed men who have access to AR-15s and many other “assault style” weapons.

Excellent, thanks for posting.

At 3:45 he addresses other needs, including all-important situational awareness.

Scaring the sh*t out of our children and grandchildren about firearms sure isn’t a very bright idea. I don’t think that a military full of hoplophobic, homosexual snowflakes isn’t really going to cut it when Americans are called upon to defend our freedom again.

One point I have not seen anyone make.

Libs say over and over no one needs an AR-15 to deer hunt.

Ignore for the moment that the Constitution never mentions hunting as a reason for the 2nd Amendment.

My neighbor who hunts deer on my farm has a beautiful collection of hunting guns, most of which are old enough that they have beautiful walnut stocks with the rich bluing from the days when rifles were beautiful as well as high quality.

He bought an AR-15 and it has become his favorite hunting rifle. That really surprised me because it certainly does not look like his old Winchesters and Remingtons.

But the reason he is sold on it is the low recoil and really great accuracy.

The libs problem with the AR-15 is that they envision hunters machine gunning a deer which is laughable.

Putting the first bullet exactly where it needs to be is the secret to successful hunting. It is rare that you get a second shot unless the deer is wounded sufficiently that it takes only a few steps.

Low recoil helps accuracy.

He clarified that his AR-15 was fully automatic that is the M4A2

If/when our military is ordered to attack and subjugate We the People I hope that is EXACTLY who we will be fighting against.

Libs say over and over no one needs an AR-15 to deer hunt.

When any liberal says, “You don’t need an assault rifle with a 50 round clip to hunt deer”, I always pause, look at them seriously, and respond:

“Yeah, but what if there are a LOT of deer? What if they are in lightly-armored vehicles?”

To be truthful I was not that all impressed with the ad

Those who are true believers in the 2nd think it is great
BUT that is not who has to be reached and I don't think this ad will sway many if they even see it

I think it might. Virtually everyone finds themselves in a "gun-free-zone" from time to time. This ad will appeal to those who have resisted arming themselves for the many reasons that one might resist.

Weapons are expensive. There are downside dangers to weapons. Training is expensive and one never seem to have enough of it. Places to shoot or train can be difficult to find. Safeguarding the weapon and keeping it away from little people and stupid big people is an additional burden.

Every new gun owner faces these and other challenges when deciding to become armed. This ad drives home the idea that even Hillary recognizes that there are risks out there that can only be addressed by armed people at the scene who are ready to act.

If your child attends a gun-free school, if your nephew hangs out at a gay night club, if your son competes in the Boston Marathon, they might be targeted. Those who are ready will fare better than those who are not.

I haven't seen statistics on how many of the numerous guns being bought are by first-time buyers. But I am sure that there are many and we are winning the war against the anti-gunners.

If we were really winning then the NRA membership would be way over 10,000,000
