At the close of her Wednesday rally in North Carolina, Hillary Clinton directly responded to remarks that Donald Trump made hours earlier in a speech focused on attacking her qualifications.
"I know Donald hates it when anyone points out how hollow his sales pitch really is," she said. "I guess my speech yesterday must have gotten under his skin, because right away he lashed out on Twitter with outlandish lies and conspiracy theories and he did the same in his speech today. Now, think about it. He's going after me personally because he has no answers on the substance."
She also made pointed reference to her Methodist faith, which Trump questioned in a meeting with evangelical leaders earlier this week.
"All he can do is try to distract us," Clinton said. "That's even why he's attacking my faith."

I once saw an interview with one of the mother’s of the Benghazi dead, who said, “there’s a special place in Hell for Hillary Clinton,” he should run that every single day on a continuous loop.
After watching her speech today, she has no off script skills.
There was no effective rebuttal to anything Trump said.

Wish Trump had rallies scheduled for the next several days in battleground states. Not keen on him taking time to go to Turnberry to cut a ribbon on his golf course. He needs to stay on this side of the pond and capitalize on today’s juggernaut speech.
Disappointed, too, because I had heard that he was going on Hannity’s show tonight but turns out if will be son Eric.
Nothing against Eric, but right now, I know of no events planned for Trump other than the trip to Scotland.
