DONALD J. TRUMP STATEMENT REGARDING BRITISH REFERENDUM ON E.U. MEMBERSHIP
Donald J. trump ^ | 6/24/2016 | Donald J. Trump

Posted on 06/24/2016 3:03:44 AM PDT by usafa92

The people of the United Kingdom have exercised the sacred right of all free peoples. They have declared their independence from the European Union and have voted to reassert control over their own politics, borders and economy. A Trump Administration pledges to strengthen our ties with a free and independent Britain, deepening our bonds in commerce, culture and mutual defense. The whole world is more peaceful and stable when our two countries – and our two peoples – are united together, as they will be under a Trump Administration.

Come November, the American people will have the chance to re-declare their independence. Americans will have a chance to vote for trade, immigration and foreign policies that put our citizens first. They will have the chance to reject today’s rule by the global elite, and to embrace real change that delivers a government of, by and for the people. I hope America is watching, it will soon be time to believe in America again.

Obozo went there and lectured the UK public on why they should be servile toward the loathsome EU dictators.

Trump celebrates their freedom and indepedence.

Obozo disgraced us all by telling them that they will go to “the back of the queue” on future trade negotiations with the USA.

I hope that Trump will announce that in the Trump admin. our close ally and partner the United Kingdom will be at “the front of the queue” anytime they have important matters to discuss with the USA!!!

I watched Dana Perino say that Trump should cancel his trip because it was a huge mistake that would distract from his campaign. I told my wife he is brilliant and it would coincide with Brexit! What a great move!!

Good, and they will lose access to the UK corporate welfare.

I hope American companies take note.

I hope those that depend on American taxpayer welfare decide to leave as well, or get on board.

I’m sorry, but the UK is tired of financing Greek companies, and Spanish companies on the backs of the working class!

If they produce a good product at a good price they will lose NO access to any market.

The “European Market” as you titled it, does not say “we will not do business with any country that is part of the EU”

America is not part of the EU, and although Obama has pretty much promised to cut off ties with the UK because of this, those who need products and goods will buy the best goods at the best price available. And if you have to include 20% of your cost into lawsuits, taxes, and supporting the givemecrats you are no longer competitive.

Market will take a hit for awhile, it took a hit when they JOINED the EU, Wallstreet just does not like change, ANY change, it’s just a fact.

And if this is all about money... well, you are on the wrong side of history because this election is about sovereign nations and sovereign people exercising their right to protect themselves and not have to support the entire population of the globe on their backs.

GO Britain!

The Globalists are on the Run!

Let's hope this marks the turning point when the freedom fighters put the Hounds of Baskerville, Brussels and Globalville in their cage!

You can bet that Trump's rise influenced events. His push on stopping illegal immigration and forcing the Muslim control issue helped tip the scales.

And it's fitting that David Cameron, the man who clashed with Trump, has resign in disgrace.

Thank you, British FReedom Fighters! You have paved the way for our American revolt in a few short months!

This man so gets it.

As a long term Cruz supporter now working to elect Trump I must say I agree 110% with your comment and Trump's statement. Trump could be Freeper. Maybe he is.

LOL while Hillary and Obama were no where to be found, Trump was on all the morning news showings looking as though he was giving a presidential press conference, while at the same time, publicizing his golf property.

What a dumb fox he is.

Does he mean it?

Of course he means it - you have to look at as Trump’s life in precedent!! When he says he is going to build something - he DOES it.

The ice skating rink is in particular an example of Trump coming in and efficiently fixing it after NYC Democrat mayor was unable to get it done for many years.

Trump is going to Make America Great Again!!

Welcome aboard the Trump Train you will never regret it.

A good statement.

Competition is good whether it is from company to company or nation to nation.

I’m not much on this one for all and all for none stuff we’ve been doing around the world for the last 20 or 30 years. Things were better before. You don’t need a Brussels based group of oligarchs to allow unfettered trade that isn’t unfettered at all.

Yes, he does seem to get it.

ahh, wonderful, now I find that Trump is all over the issue and has already said just the right words to our dear UK allies:

Trump also commented on President Barack Obama's warning in April that the U.K. would find itself at the back of the queue in trade talks if it left the EU.

"President Obama did say, I guess, that they should move to the back of the line," he said.

"That wouldn't happen with me: the UK has been such a great ally for so long, they'll always be at the front of the line, they've been amazing allies in good times and in bad times."

Pure, sweet eloquence.  I wouldn't be surprised to know that Stephen Miller, the former Jeff Sessions aide, is helping Trump craft such beautify words.  And I love how it doesn't labor on.  Short, sweet, and Churchillian in strength.

I love the subtle reference back to our own 1776 revolution here:

Come November, the American people will have the chance to re-declare their independence.
