It’s readily apparent that Mark wants Cruz to take the nomination at the convention. The consequence is that Trump will run as a write-in and split the vote and elect Hillary. So this is really purist sabotage.

He gets away with it because only a minute number of people read this sort of history and know that he’s full of $%it.
And his sudden interest in the subject is because Trump intends to use tariffs and the threat of them to force concessions from our mercantilist trade partners, for the purpose of saving the battered blue collar workers of the Rust Belt. By opposing them with a cartoon version of free trade he thinks he has a stick with which to beat Trump, or at least call him a Hillary-Bernie Leftist as he has been doing today.
In Levin World the non-college blue collar folks are to be left to the mercies of the targeted trade policies of our rivals that are laughably called ‘free trade’ by its cynical apologists and the useful idiots who bear none of the brunt of these policies.

Trump is a bully and a coward. He’s as thin skinned as Obama. When anyone stands up to him, he demonizes them. I don’t want 4-8 more years of Obama but that is what we are going to get one way or another regardless of whether Trump or Hillary win the race to become POTUS.

He ignored his request for a debate with Cruz. Trump always went on the show and then Mark endorsed Cruz, and stopped asking Trump him on.
While smearing Trump as “Nixonian”, etc. for MONTHS on end. Levin and his cult of “true conservatives” clearly prefer the Butcher of Benghazi and her SCOTUS picks to Trump. How pathetic is that?

Exactly. Ted Cruz green lighted all this post primary Trump fragging nonsense with his withdrawal day press conference tantrum. His deluded followers continue to try to depress support for Trump and defacto campaign for Hillary. How principled and conservative of them.

If you really cared about getting a real conservative in the White House, y’all never would have voted for Trump. Whether Trump wins or Hillary wins, we won’t have a real conservative.
Do you also believe in the tooth fairy? There is no immaculate conservative. Certainly not the junior Senator from Texas who campaigned with Paul Ryan to enable the secret trade agenda (TPA/TPP/TTIP/ETC.) of the most lawless POTUS in US history. Trump won because he advanced conservative, America First, ideas on trade and immigration. Cruz lost because he is a careerist fraud. A self serving pious Christian who made millions from sleazy Goldman Sachs. Then self admittedly gave basically nothing to charity. Day dreaming that Cruz will be the man in 2020 only helps Hillary. Is that what you really want?
