Here we go again. You know who reacted positively to this on Twitter? Liberals! (and NeverTrumps like Amanda Carpenter).
One of two things are going on here:
One, Mitch has resigned himself to supporting Trump and legitimately feels that he's not yet credible and is hoping to push him that way. That of course insults the 14 million voters who did find him credible.
Two, Mitch doesn't support Trump, but he feels he has to say he's endorsing him as Republican Senate Majority leader. Therefore, Mitch wants to pull a Paul Ryan and straddle the line saying, "I support him, but I'm really concerned with..." Or, "I support him, but I strongly disagree with..." In his mind, he's feeling he's doing just enough to say the "right" thing but just enough to go with the media narrative about Trump and cause doubt even among the voters in his party. Once again, this ignores the 14 million Americans who voted for Trump.
After reading what he said about Hillary, it HAS to be number 2. I believe Mitch, like Ryan, really would prefer Hillary get elected. Then the Republicans can portray themselves as white knights fighting against Hillary and run their establishment guy in 2020.
Was that turkey-necked piece of pig dung waving an old muzzle loader in the air when he was giving that interview?
Hey McConnell. FOAD.
The establishment of both parties is linked to the globalist vision of the economy and world. Trump is a threat to that. They could care less who is president as long as they do their globalist masters bidding.
And by globalist masters I mean corporations and finance institutions using cheap overseas labors to make huge profits by selling items at higher western prices.
Think about it - why are Iphones so expensive. If they just doubled the cost of production the iphone would still sell for half the price it is selling for now with a 100% profit margin.
With friends like these...
Love how these people were asking us to put up with their rotten choices through the years (Dole, McCain, Romney)... and for once, when the tables are turned, they cant do the same and show some reciprocity.
It could be worse. Calling him a great entertainer is certainly better than calling him a racist like one Congressional bozo in the other chamber recently did
Mitch does not represent my interests.
Donald does indeed represent my interests.
And scores of millions of others’ interests.
Uniparty wailing and gnashing teeth in the throes of cognitive dissonance
(and more so, the looming end of their thieving gravy train).
What an incompetent moron!
Just before the general election. We need to get rid of this dead weight.
McConnell is not a credible candidate.
These GOPe son of a bit**es are useless.
Their party is almost over.
This is all about keeping the borders wide open and the donor class happy.
Mitch is the epitome of a corporate whore bought and paid for by the COC to keep the status quo.
The establishment trying to get leverage with Trump.
Trump won because he spoke the truth without a teleprompter and constantly repeating a planned line. Like Rubio which Christie used to knock him out.
Keep doing what you’re doing, Trump. Any advice from a republican? Do the opposite.
Mitch the joyfull turtle?
F.O. Mitch!
If Trump wasn’t running, I wouldn’t vote for a single Republican.
Trump is a more credible candidate than McConnell was ever a credible Senate majority leader.
McConnell would never say such a thing about McCain or Romney, the last two losers that ran.
