The US sailors who were detained by the Iranian navy last winter provided their name, rank and serial numbers - and pretty much everything else their captors demanded, the US Navy said in a blistering report Thursday.
The 10 crew members, captured at gunpoint in the Persian Gulf on Jan. 12 by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, improperly revealed passwords for laptops and cellphones and even sensitive technical details about their two ships, including their top speed, capabilities and missions, the report said.

The Navy report blamed the incident on a combination of poor planning, clueless leaders who did not properly consider how risky their actions were, a lack of crew oversight and low morale.

These sailors fall into one of two categories:
1) They are the typical Millennial snowflake, raised by parents who never taught them any values except “what’s in it for me”. They recieved a shelf full of Participation Trophies and have the highest of undeserved self-esteem. They are the product of our cultural collapse.
2) They are good men and women who have seen the US Government the leadership of the US Navy destroy everything good in the Navy.
In the case of #1, why blame them. This is just what they are. It’s what most people in their generation are. In the case of #2, there is nothing worth being tortured for in a nation that elected Obama TWICE and is on track to elect a person who is under FBI investigation for National Security violations.
This is a nation where people will sell their freedom for a cell phone and corporations will ruin thousands of lives just to raise stock value a dollar a share for one quarter.
Just remember, Obama feted the parents of Bowe Bergdahl in the Rose Garden (and traded him for terrorists), yet these men are slandered. I will give these sailors the benefit of the doubt.
