EXCLUSIVE: Security Source Details Bill Clinton Maneuver to Meet Loretta Lynch
Former president delayed Phoenix takeoff to snare '20-25 minute encounter' with Attorney General
An exclusive interview with a security source who was present at the unplanned meeting Monday night on a Phoenix tarmac between former President Bill Clinton and Attorney General Lorretta Lynch has shed additional light on an unusual summit that is embroiling the AG in charges of favoritism. As attorney general, Lynch heads the Department of Justice just as it is deciding whether to proceed with charges against Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton over her use of a private email server during her tenure as President Obama’s secretary of state.
The source has decades of experience providing security to government officials. The source spoke to the Observer for 20 minutes and answered follow-up questions via text message on the condition that no further details be revealed, including even gender, given the possibility of losing his or her job as an active overseer of security arrangements. This person was on-hand for the entirety of the meeting and some of its aftermath.
According to this source, whose credentials were checked and confirmed by the Observer with sources inside both the FBI and the United States Secret Service, the attorney general was caught completely off guard by the meeting and the source dismisses suggestions that have been raised alleging that she waited there to see Bill Clinton or accommodated his request to see him. In fact, it seems from this source that it was Bill Clinton who was maneuvering for face time with the attorney general, because his plane had been scheduled to leave before hers arrived.

Be careful what you hope for. She recuses herself and opens the door to a many-month delay in the investigation.
Just the fact he showed up a few days before her FBI interview is intimidating.
Some have speculated that the Clinton camp WANTED the meeting to come to light. I don’t buy that argument at all. They met in secret and didn’t announce it. Only an inquiring investigative reporter with an informant got the story.
If true, you’ve really got to give this reporter credit, and he better watch his back!
Thank God the FBI and Secret Service were there to make sure nobody Conspired to Obstruct Justice!
Smartest thing he did was go to his bosses with the story and show them the info from two informants. That way, he was covered when he asked the Clinton mob about it.

This meeting has all but destroyed her reputation .. why would she ever agree to meet with Bill ..??
I’m leaning toward the typical “soft intimidation” tactic too. This is part of Bill’s typical way of doing business; he still thinks he can bully anyone into doing what he wants.
Lynch and Clinton are both lawyers, they know their meeting is improper, that it is obstruction of justice.
Charge them both.

I really think this was not about Hillary. It was about preventing the release of 34,000 emails between State staff and the corrupt Clinton Fiundation.

But .. she was supposedly the possessor of a “stellar reputation” from her days in the lower courts.
Are we now to believe that her former reputation is in question .. and that this meeting with Bill was done to expose her fallibility ..??
Well .. larger than life people can suddenly have a “crashing to earth” moment.
And, if this meeting was to show how she was willing to play both sides of the situation; I think Billy succeeded.
And, it points out to me .. that her appointment by Clinton (in the first place), was a “the fix is in” moment. Did Billy appoint her on that condition .. should Hillary ever need her .. she would be at Billy’s beck and call ..??

Correct, according to Rush - they met in yet another private plane, which was conveniently positioned for them to use, though neither arrived on this plane.
So, media, how about asking “whose plane was it”?

What if Bubba was there to MAKE a videotape. Equipment set up on the plane, AG asking the questions, Bill betraying Hillary, but thereby saving his own @ss and the Foundation as the deal?
The problem is, almost nothing requires face to face anymore. So you have to think of something that does - and requires everyone know about this "secret" meeting (so they can validate the video without having to admit it exists - yet). Just as everybody now does - "by accident."
Per this story, it mentioned several times that the meet was on her plane - there appears to have been no ‘neutral’ 3rd plane. The only time I’ve heard about a 3rd plane was a mention from Rush - frankly, the way some of the earlier stories were written (poorly) it would be easy to get confused.
If there had been a 3rd/neutral plane, or even Lynch’s plane sitting on the tarmac, cabin air & electric power can be run by the APU (auxilliary power unit) without the main engines being started so it would not have been hot inside.
