I would like for someone to explain what a “thermite warhead” is and what missile systems uses one.

Thermite burns, very hot, but very slowly. As a grenade, it is used to destroy sensitive electronic or optical equipment to prevent it being of any use to the enemy if captured.

It is also used to "spike" artillery pieces, left behind in an emergency retreat, by welding the breach block shut, preventing the enemy from using on you.

AFAIK, there are no warheads which use thermite.

“what a “thermite warhead” is “

It is a nerd term used by basement dwelling attention seekers who still live in mom’s basement, watch reruns from a plaid lazyboy, and contribute more than their fair share to porn bandwidth.

Or maybe the National Security State got to him halfway through the article and re-programmed him.

No need. Just declare the two hundred eye witnesses who testified to a missile firing, of every level of expertise, all the way up to commercial aircraft pilots, as wrong - delusional, drunk, imagination, or just fools. It's easy, you just take their testimonies, walk over to the trash can, and drop them in. Then - it never happened.

I should have put one of those “sarc” things next to my question.

Amazing how many people him and his syndicate have killed over the years.

You forgot the part about convincing the 1,500 people who had to be in on the conspiracy to keep quiet.

My comment wasn’t really to discuss the airliner. It was to point out to desert moon, that it was a fact that people saw an ICBM off of LA. I added it was likely to be a training exercise the navy has done every 5 years.

What I saw were not flares, of that I am certain.

The center fuel tank blew up, but heat seekers go for the engines.

...

That’s true, but according to the NTSB the air conditioning packs below the center tank could have attracted a heat seeking missile. The NTSB also found no evidence of missile damage.

None of whom who had pensions, medical benefits or family members who could be threatened, which never mattered anyway because of course the Clinton White House would never stoop so low.

On the other TWA 800 thread you never answered my questions.... are you an aircraft structural engineer? Have you been to NTSB crash investigation training?

I have and the protocols were ignored by the entire USG on this one..and the final report to be determined by many in the industry to be a sham... Why are non-disclosures that have 5 year min jail time still enforced by those that worked the crash investigation?

You are a worthless kooooook.

Let us not forget that when the Murrah Building in OKC was destroyed by a bomb that witnesses soon alerted law enforcement to a second “middle eastern” man, who for a short while was officially sought as “John Doe Number Two”. But soon this horrifying event was officially being investigated as a crime lead by Tim McVeigh. Any hint that there were any other outside parties involved was rejected.

I have long suspected that in both the OKC bombing and the TWA debacle, that the Clinton Administration adamantly needed to shape the story into one that suited their domestic political and ideological needs, irrespective of the truth.

In my opinion, both were a case of a “crisis that must not be allowed to go to waste” writ large. (and in a criminally cynical manner) If we elect any person who was anywhere near these political calculations we can only expect the very same cynicism from them in future events.

Its an astonishing kind of stupid to think a USN warship can torch off a standard missile, bring down a 747 in sight of Long Island, and that everyone on the ship wouldn’t know inside of 5 minutes.

...

True enough, and one of the best witnesses, the captain of the Eastwind 737 was certain he did not see a missile.

When an instigation is complete and a problem with the airplane is found, an announcement is made those planes are all grounded until the repairs are comlete to fly again. The problem was announced a fuel tank issue but nothing more was said or done about it and the planes continued to fly.

...

A lot of Airworthiness Directives were put out shortly afterward. IIRC, one of the temporary measures at the time was to put more fuel in the center tank so the fumes wouldn’t be flammable.

Amazingly, the wreckage of TWA800 is still assembled and used for training. I would think that the conspirators would want to destroy the evidence.

I think you mean all of whom.

By the way, the number in on the conspiracy now has at least doubled due to the agents needed to do the research on and then threaten everyone else (well, maybe they just did a webcast to threaten everyone but they still needed to dig up the dirt).

Doesn't anyone ever think about the practical implications of their conspiracy theories? Even for a minute?

No, I meant "none" - I was being implicatorily sarcastic. And besides, why count the cost of the coverup - Michelle Obama just spent $600,000 in Marrakesh in one night on her 20th multi-million dollar vacation. Money is irrelevant to these people, and they can always buy new generations of thugs.

I didn't.

I commented on the ridiculous notion that our government could keep a conspiracy of this magnitude quiet.

And I pointed out exactly how they would do it. Responding with a bumper sticker doesn't cut the mustard or turn the page at the end of the day.

Because sailors are so corrupt they'd talk against orders, eh? And that's the essence of your argument - that naval military personnel are crap? We're not liberals here, that meme won't fly.
