The Curious Case of Philando Castile – Falcon Heights, MN Police Shooting (More Info)
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | July 8, 2016 | Sundance

Posted on 07/08/2016 4:53:45 AM PDT by bobsunshine

...During the uploaded video narration Ms. Reynolds stated the police officer pulled them over for a broken tail light.

There are several aspects of the narrative as told that didn’t pass the sniff test, however, something about the “tail light” just didn’t seem to make sense. Especially when you consider it was daylight when they were pulled over; and where –in the aftermath media video– it can be noted the tail lights were operable.

Upon further evaluation of the entire set of circumstances, something is missing.

Was there another reason why the police officer would pull them over?

The shooting took place, late afternoon/early evening Wednesday July 6th. [ Remember that, and stay with me ].

The people at GotNews chased down the social media profiles of Diamond and Philando, and unfortunately a familiar set of social behaviors surfaces.

Yes, Philando Castile was a gang member (crips), frequently picturing himself with firearms, cash, drugs and gang signs; and Ms. Diamond also has a colorfully broadcasted social presence.

You may be correct that he was a passenger. If so, that makes her statement that he was getting his license and registration a little odd. I think we are going to be learning a lot more about “Saint” Philando in the coming months. It sucks the media will not do their own investigation. All we will hear is her side of the story and the libs repeating her side. The Police, as they should, will not issue statements while they are doing the investigation. Unfortunately, just as in the Ferguson and Baltimore with the help of the media, libs and politicians, Philando will be a saint and practically untouchable. The BLM groups, libs, politicians and media still claim Michael Brown was an unarmed black, college aspiring and good teenager walking down the street and murdered for no reason by a white cop.

It turns out the video is a reverse image, for some reason, in places you can see that he is behind the wheel.

For some reason, her film was inverted. He was the driver. I thought he was the passenger as well until I watched it again and he is clearly behind the wheel.

I don’t think Philando was the robbery perp because Philando had significant facial hair on the side that the perp did not; however, there certainly was a significant resemblance.

4 days had elapsed between the robbery surveillance footage and the police vehicle stop. Four days' growth, trimmed, would look like that. Cannot Just pointing out that the difference in facial hair along the jawline doesn't mean much.

Yeah, I was trying to figure that out. I could certainly not get that much growth in 4 days. But then again, I'm not a Crip. :-)

"What’s your point? Why can’t the gun be laying on the seat? CCW holders have NEVER BEEN A THREAT. The cop is completely at fault because of ignorance. Sorry, black people are allowed to carry too."

Philando Castile, the black man shot during the traffic stop in Minnesota, was a Crips gang member and a suspect in an armed robbery of a convenience store. He was NOT a CCW holder. What was it you were saying about "ignorance"?

MAJOR UPDATE FROM CONSERVATIVE TREEHOUSE:

KARE11 News has just presented police radio communication that confirms this exact set of facts and thesis. The officers have also been identified:

[…] We have verified that the license plate mentioned by police in the recording matches the plate of the car Castile was driving. The location the officer gives also corresponds to the locations of the traffic stop.

“I’m going to stop a car,” the officer says on the recording. “I’m going to check IDs. I have reason to pull it over.”

“The two occupants just look like people that were involved in a robbery,” the officer says. “The driver looks more like one of our suspects, just ‘cause of the wide set nose,” the officer continues.

A minute and a half later, the recording captures the first report that there was a shooting...

The cop told the man to get his license and when he tried to comply the cop killed him.

Which would make sense if Philando actually had a driver's license. His record shows 79 traffic violations, many for not having insurance and not having a driver's license.

Watching the local news (Minneapolis) this morning, there is no word stating he did not have the license.

79 Traffic violations, many for not having insurance, and driving on a suspended license.

Why would he bother with a CCW license ?

What is most interesting is that in this MODERN INSTANT COMMUNICATIONS AGE, we can't even get the media to inform us TRUTHFULLY as to whether he had a CCW license or not.

Heck, no one can even figure out if he was driving or not (even with photographs showing him in the passenger seat).

If so, that makes her statement that he was getting his license and registration a little odd.

As a passenger , I could see the police asking him for his ID (those who have suspended or do not have a DL can have a state issued ID), and if he said the car was his, them asking him for the registration.

Is that on video or audio , of them asking him for either one of those things ?

Why can’t the gun be laying on the seat?

Not sure about the CCW laws in that state, but in Florida (probably most CCW states) concealed means concealed, on your person, in your car...

Open carry states on your seat is allowable...
