Confirmed – Philando Castile Was an Armed Robbery Suspect
Conservative Treehouse ^ | 07-08-2016 | Sundance

Posted on 07/08/2016 9:22:45 PM PDT by Kevin in California

The Falcon Heights, Minnesota police shooting of Philando Castile is based around an entirely false narrative. Castile and Ms. Diamond Reynolds (Facebook video uploader) were pulled over by police because Castile matched a BOLO Alert for an armed robbery suspect from four days prior

You have no point. Is it the audio that is unsubstantiated, not released by the cops? In addition the person on the audio says he had a similar wide nose to some suspect? This makes him a “Robbery suspect”? Get real.

It goes like this slick.

I guess officer “Wulff” would just stop the “armed robbery suspect” vehicle, and simply stroll up to the window and ask him for ID. I’d pay to see that. Go get um officer Wulff!

So tell me, how long was Castile suspected of being an, “Armed robbery” suspect?

So the officer happens to see some guy driving by, who allegedly has the same nose as some armed robbery suspect? And the officer was so convinced of this, he simply walked to the Armed robbery suspect vehicle and asked to see his ID and registration?

Come on Ching. That would be suicide from my perspective.

Not buying it. No sale.

What does this have to do with a justified shooting?

Remember the Amadou Diallo flap?

A tragic case. Amadou Diallo was within the search radius of a crime that had just been committed and he resembled the description of the perp. He ran when hailed and ordered to stop by plainclothes policemen. He was an immigrant, didn't speak the language, and possibly never realized they were police.

(link) NOTE from the article: “According to a press release from the St. Anthony Police Department, which contracts for police service in Lauderdale, the two robbed the Super USA store in the 2400 block of Larpenteur Avenue around 7:30 p.m., taking cash from the register and cartons of Newport cigarettes.”

It is with that “armed robbery suspect” perspective the approach toward the vehicle was made.

Diamond “Aka Lavish” Reynolds is stoned and laughing at you.

79 traffic offences? How many do you have? I haven’t had any in twenty years and driving was part of my job.

Does CONFIRMED mean “still just one source” for this story?

“But, since he had a CCW permit, it wouldn’t be illegal.”

Perfectly legal.

But perfectly asinine to move when the officer told him to not move.

The “legal” definition of a “suspect” varies. Mostly someone more likely to have committed a crime than this guy was (from what we know, now), but usually included in the many definitions is a lower standard as in “a police officer’s belief” that someone may have committed a crime.

In definition 1. or a. maybe not a “suspect”
In definition 2. or b. yes, a “suspect”

Everyone is correct. He both was and wasn’t a suspect.

One of the requirements for a Minnesota permit is a driver’s license. He was continually cited for not having one until just a few years ago, and he also refused to have insurance. Otherwise, he was a law-abiding citizen, other than his extensive list of infractions that is. He was pry a Hillary supporter since he obviously didn’t think the laws applied to him.
