You might be right. Trump must be super annoyed with Newt's act by this point.
UNLESS...this is a planned diversion and Newt is serving a purpose here by keeping the spotlight on him while the real candidate slips under the radar.
My guess it will NOT be Newt, Pence or Christie.
Newt is not going going to be VP. He’s helping Trump play a massive misdirection game on the media. Let them concentrate on him and Pence and wham here comes Marsha Blackburn, Allen West or some other unknown walking up to the microphones with Trump in Manhattan Friday morning.

I hope you’re right. Having Newt in his administration would probably be good for Trump. As a veep, Newt seems somewhat less complementary to Trump’s strengths than some of the others.

This is a diversion. Even for a guy who likes to run his mouth as much as Newt does this is overkill on his part. He’s doing a great job because everyone in the media and a bunch of people here are paying attention to him for the most part.
I believe that Newt is running interference for Trump. It’s a head fake. Newt was promised a different gig and he keeps everyone guessing

HA! O’Reilly was badgering him the other day about how Friday was a slow news day and he should do it on Thursday instead, which would give O’Bloviator the opportunity to “analyze”. If I’d been Trump I would have laughed in his face, but you could tell he’s “acting Presidential”.
I found it interesting in his interview with Brett Baier tonight. Trump said he was down to 3, maybe 4, perspective VPs. At the mention of 4, I wondered about number 4.
Everyone’s talking 3 (Pence, Gingrich, and Christie), so why did he mention 4 prospectives. I wondered if it might be a “surprise” when he announces his
VP pick.
