Rumsfeld said:

On Trump, however, Rumsfeld noted he does disagree with the billionaire real estate developer on some things—particularly Trump’s viewpoints on the war in Iraq—but that their agreements far outweigh their disagreements. He said he clearly supports Trump for president and hopes that he wins the election in November

For those who don’t know and may think he just acts like he might have been in the Military, he WAS in the Military and was a fighter pilot.

As Secretary of Defense, Rumsfeld stood watching as tens of millions or foreigners entered this country illegally, during war time yet. While at the same time stood by and watched his boss import more Muslims after 911 than entered in the previous two decades. No more 10 year long compassionate multi-trillion dollar wars, where American only win the job and expense of rebuilding their countries, while they fell into decline. We’re broke and can no longer continue follow these stupid punitive reckless policies as Rumsfeld did for his boss.

Those days are coming to an end.

All hot wars the US has gotten into have been reconstruction wars, except when the politics or logistics did not permit a victory to happen.

Iraq needed a democracy like a fish needed a bicycle. The model that the Shah of Iran had provided was the optimal one for that kind of country. Get a friendly ruler in there and then prop him up by all means, but don’t try to get the Islamic mind to understand democracy.

Donald Rumsfeld was always an America firster so good for him. He just made some mistakes along the way. Guys his age grew up patriotic and he is remembering this.

I am sure Rumsfeld is against Obama/Hillary’s open borders policies. He knows by now that free trade has been a disaster for America that has made China into a military and economic threat.
