MILWAUKEE —A Milwaukee police officer was shot in a "vicious" attack early Sunday as he sat in his squad car while colleagues investigated a domestic disturbance call, an official said.
The suspected shooter, identified by police as a 20-year-old West Allis man with two felonies on his record, was found dead in a nearby yard, they said.
The incident began as a response to a domestic disturbance call near South 17th Street and West Morgan Avenue at about 2 a.m. During that investigation, someone fired shots into the squad car, striking an officer "multiple" times," Asst. Police Chief William Jessup said in a morning press conference.
The officer, a 31-year-old man with 13 years of service, was taken to Froedtert Hospital for surgery. Milwaukee police Sergeant Tim Gauerke said the injuries were not life-threatening.
Time to pull out of neighborhoods and let these folks sort it out. The decent ones will leave and we need to prepare to help them.

It looks like the democrats and their media minions are getting what they’ve wanted all along.
Should be in breaking in light of what is going on I think.
So blacks are targeting cops all over the country. Shooting them in cold blood. Mostly White cops. The media doesn’t call it racist. The media doesn’t even notice that it’s spreading.
I noticed that cops are not demonstrating in the streets. Cops are not breaking windows and looting TVs. Cops are not blocking traffic. Cops are not planning to turn the Republican convention into a bloody hell.
I don’t remember bammy condemning the cop killings with much emotion. Just like he doesn’t condemn muzzards who kill Christians. Bammy is very happy with what’s happening. He didn’t seen to get too upset over the muzzard who just killed 84 innocents, including 10 children.
The timing is all-important. This mass murder of cops by blacks comes just before the Republican convention. The left is $h!tting its pants out of fear that Trump may just be the one to stop this country’s headlong rush into the abyss.

This is not really a “bad” neighborhood. My daughter lives less than a block from there. She works the power shift at a local hospital emergency room so she wasn’t home at the time of the shooting.

That man is the same person who was involved in both the domestic incident and the shooting of the police officer, police said.

This was a continuation of a DV incident the officer was originally responding to. The actor took himself out a little time later.
