Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol made yet another plea Sunday for Mitt Romney or Sen. Ben Sasse to launch a third-party bid to challenge presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump.
"Look what's happening to our country. Look at the two party nominees. An independent candidacy is still doable. Please. @MittRomney @BenSasse," Kristole tweeted on Sunday.
Kristol has spearheaded the charge for an independent candidate to enter the race and has worked with conservatives seeking to deny Trump the nomination at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland next week.
Kristol earlier this month encouraged Republican delegates to protest on the floor of the convention.
Trump has ripped Kristol over his efforts, calling him a "loser" and a "dummy."
"Bill Kristol has been wrong for 2yrs-an embarrassed loser, but if the GOP can't control their own, then they are not a party. Be tough, R's!" Trump tweeted in May.
"If dummy Bill Kristol actually does get a spoiler to run as an Independent, say good bye to the Supreme Court!"
Kristol needs to STFU and assume a low profile before the wrong person fixates on him.
Kristol needs a bit of “cleaning” to be KRYSTAL KLEAR.

It’s Kristol clear that this man-child has soiled his depends one too many times.
Delusions of cowardice. Not willing to stick his OWN neck out and declare. But he’s not above conning some other egotist into acting as the turd in the punchbowl. I guess the big question is: Do either Mitt or Sasse have that much gall, or that level of stupidity, to be willing to be the bolus in the bowl, for all the world to see?

I will actively campaign against Mittens or Sasse if they are foolish enough to try an independent campaign.
I’d like to see some concerned members of the party take Kristol to an undisclosed location where he could be kept incommunicado for at least a few weeks-psychotherapy would probably be a good idea, too...
