The 1965 immigration act set in motion the conversion of California into a colony of the Third World.

Followed by the invasion of California by New York liberals like Diane Feinstein and Barbara Boxer in the 1970s.

Then Reagan’s extremely misguided 1986 Amnesty cemented the La Raza beachhead, converting American suburbs into decaying Mexican barrios with gangs and graffiti and all of the other Family Values that Don’t Stop at the Rio Grande celebrated by the dimwitted Mexican patriots of the Bush family.

Short of mass-deportation and scrapping the 1965 immigration act, nothing in this state is going to change.

In the 1970’s I lived in Manhattan. I had a neighbor who worked for in a hospital for the mentally ill. When they were released they were given the opportunity to be given a one way ticket to California. A lot of them took it.

Okay, so you know what to do...

IIRC, it was Mike Royko that named California the Granola State for that very reason.

I’ve known what to do since 1994 when I voted for Prop 187, opposed by the GOPe treason lobby who allied themselves with the illegals. Among the prominent traitors were Jack Kemp, Bill Bennett, and the then Governor of Texas GW Bush.

Back in 1994 I still thought that most Republican politicians were honest.

I cannot recognize that California vista.

I think it’s possible that is not California.

Same here. I still haven't forgiven that one rotten judge who overturned the will of six million Californians. I hope she spends eternity experiencing the crimes committed by the illegals who would not be in California if not for her...from the point of view of the victims.

‘Same here. I still haven’t forgiven that one rotten judge who overturned the will of six million Californians. ‘

Mariana Pfaelzer.

But she didn’t do it on her own, he ruling stands only because neither Arnold nor Gray Davis nor Jerry Brown chose to appeal her decision. Her ruling can be appealed at any time.

‘Back in 1994 I still thought that most Republican politicians were honest.’

That Prop 187 fight taught me just how vile and treasonous the GOPe are. It would take some time for that lesson to filter out to the rest of the country but the Trump revolution shows that we all get it now.

That pic is from Catalina Island offshore of Los Angeles. The building is the Avalon Ballroom.

I lived in Southern California for 16 years, but I’ve never been to Catalina.

Still, I had a feeling that picture was taken on the island of Catalina. Guess my instinct was right.

“Followed by the invasion of California by New York liberals like Diane Feinstein and Barbara Boxer in the 1970s.”

Sorry to say, Fineswine is a home-grown Capo Communist, but Boxster is a NY Capo Communist transplant as is Pelousey (a Catholic Communist twit), who hails from that “wonderful city” of Baltimore, where her father was mayor. But you are correct that our undoing was “migrants” from the East Coast, followed by “migrants?” from Mexico and points South.

“Short of mass-deportation and scrapping the 1965 immigration act, nothing in this state is going to change.”

I think that economic collapse is the only thing that will return California to sanity, and I’ve seen it all in my nearly 76 years living here.

CA is a cesspool and is headed for the sewer at a fast clip.

Catalina Island. It's not California - illegals can't swim that far. :)

My mom used to call it the “land of fruits and nuts” back in the 1950s, as she had a sister that lived in Santa Barbara.
