Anti-Trump Republicans launched a last-ditch bid on Monday to deny the New York businessman the party’s nomination by trying to force a state-by-state vote at the Cleveland convention on the rules that bind delegates to back Donald Trump.
The effort stands little chance of succeeding, but could pose a major disruption to the proceedings just as party officials were trying to smooth over divisions. The Trump camp is said to be "livid" at the revived push.

These people who want to unbind delegates are spitting in the eyes of the millions of voters who marched to the poll and made their choice.
I did not vote for Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio or anyone other than Trump, but if they had beaten him fair and square, I would have supported them.

This convention is the death knell for the Bush globalists and their puppet Cruz, and they know it.
It was addressed in the rules committee last week and the proposed rule changes were overwhelmingly defeated. That was supposed to have been the end of it.

All Cruz & Friends are doing is screwing a pooch ... in slo-mo, over-and-over. They lost. They refuse to accept it.
If they go to Clinton from here and screw us, the GOP is dead along with everything we hold dear: the country, the rule of law—this great modern experiment in whether men and women are capable of governing themselves.
