Amazingly, Lee and the others said things that were absolutely not true. 11 states turned out to be 9 states (with 3 of those 9 withdrawn), etc. Will of the people turned out to be “we losers want our way, not the will of the people,” etc. Typical political nonsense. That may be. I thought that too, but am now not so sure that it might not be the other way around: that Mike Lee, Glenn Beck (and possibly even "The Bishop"*) very assiduously fed Ted's ego in order to use him for their own purposes. Heck, Ted and Mike may have made one of those little deals wherein each one is convinced he will get the better of the other.
