Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump is leading presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton by 11 points with Independents, 38 percent to 27 percent, according to a new Morning Consult poll. But he’s still down by two points in a head-to-head match up, 41 percent to 39 percent.

He should be beating her by 15% of I’s, and that’s enough to win in a landslide.
Needs to get it to 20%+ to feel good about his chances to win.
The media will stand in the way of Trump gaining too much momentum. They need money for political advertisements on the main networks, to pay their liberal talking heads big money to fool us.
McCain talks a good talk, but when the chips are down he is on the same globalist side as Obama. Jut look at how the Bush presidents love to be around the Clintons.
I have to admit I've never heard of the Morning Consult poll, though. Hope it's an accurate one.
Blacks don’t really want Hillary. If they vote for her, it will only be a vote against something whitey wants. They don’t want whitey to win or have anything.

I’d like to see a poll of Law Enforcement and other First Responders. I’d bet that Trump gets over 80%.
Interesting. In Calif., Independents could not cast a vote in the Republican Primary. Wonder what the polling is like these days in Calif?
But watch those electronic voting machines, someone. A piece of paper is printed under glass, then disappears from view to be counted by hand? RFID reader?
I still maintain that if we get to the election at all without Martial Law, then he who controls the computer programs that count votes, choses the winner (in the battleground states.)

Even though there is a number of vote fraud fighting and prevention groups around the country.
To lead independents by 11 and still only be tied nationwide? That tells me that the base of the Democratic party is massive, much larger than the conservative base of the GOP. Which tells me liberals objectively outnumber conservatives in the US.
I see it as a different poll.
A lot of the “Americans” thinks its humorous that the dead vote and of course always for Democrats.
I'm noticing the majority of my friends in Texas that were supporting Cruz - are gradually getting in line for Trump. I hope this translates nationally.
