A big part of that is the end to which the ego is directed. The ego iteself? Not a good thing. I think Trump's ego is directed at building things, things other than his ego.

On my channel the cameras were on Ted ‘til the bitter end, and as he sauntered off the stage. He looked pathetic as he walked off. (He IS pathetic.)
That he did and sadly, there are still some Cruz supporters, on this thread, who are completely divorced from reality.
Just going to post these same words.
Trump knows how to pick them, and for all the right reasons.

I readily admit I'm nowhere near as smart as Newt. I'm not surprised what he did went way over my head. :)
Cruz is so arrogant that he probably thinks he has set himself up nicely with the GOP for 2020. But the only reason he got any attention and tepid endorsements is that he was the last one standing against Trump. They won’t support him in 2020 any more than they did it early 2016. He’s now less popular than Lindsay Graham.
I’m warming up to Pence as well. I think he’s a solid guy and will help President Trump with some good political expertise.
Newt is the quickest study in the world. In the WORLD. He exposed Cruz’s words and while acknowledge he is a good orator, he said, so if Cruz meant what he literally just said, he is saying vote for Trump. NEWT IS BRILLIANT. period. Newt has so much grace and ability to bring people together.

After tonight, I am definitely a fan and will try to hear her/see her if I can. She was great! :)

At one point, I actually donated to Cruz.
Then came Corker and TPA > TPP.
The man’s a globalist theocrat.
Anybody who can still support Cruz after tonight’s debacle needs counseling. Donors were calling him a disgrace to his face as he left the convention. Left his poor wife in hostile territory humiliated. It does not get worse than that.
