Ted Cruz will not vote for Hillary Clinton, he said at a Texas delegation briefing Thursday morning, but said that he was not ready to back Donald Trump.

Cruz walked the Texas delegation through his thinking in giving Wednesday's speech, saying that he had given the Trump campaign ample heads up that he was not planning to endorse the Republican Party nominee, and that they had spoken three days ago, when the Texas senator made clear that an endorsement would not be coming.

But he did not rule out an endorsement in the future.

A non-vote for the GOP candidate is as good as voting for HRC.

But Ted, nobody cares who you are going to vote for. Really. It’s not an issue. You’re just not that important.

Cruz tried to do damage control this morning. Too late. He’s history. Now I know why all his fellow Senators can’t stand him. He still reminds me of Grandpa Munster with the hook nose and big ears.

“Ted Cruz rules out voting for Hillary Clinton”

Yeah...and he promised to endorse Trump too.

Ted lies.

He’ll pull the lever for Hillary.

Who is he kidding. He’s going to write in his own name and he’s gonna tell us he did, too.

Sorry Teddy, but that train left the station last night. Your political career is over and you are a pariah in the party.

Back in January/February I so wanted it to be Ted. Now I can’t stomach his Petulant Child Tantrum. He’s dead to me, also.

He said he would back the Party’s nominee, and should be a man of his word. I am disappointed.

I must admit that there was a time I thought Ted Cruz was the man this Republic needed.

After his “speech” at the Convention he is simply without “class”. At least the Gov. of Ohio (what was his name again) had the decency to not show up at all.

Both shall barely be footnotes in the sordid history of the GOP (Grotesque Old Progressives).
