Springfield Armory is not in MA. THE Sprinfield Armory was shut down in the early 70’s by Nixon.
It'll be interesting to see if longtime Massachusetts gunmaker Smith & Wesson finally pulls up stakes and leaves the state. They have production facilities elsewhere, but have maintained corporate headquarters in Springfield, Massachusetts, at least until now.

When I was in high school, we used to use the lower parade ground for football practice.
