Nailed it

My son-in-law,an IT security engineer, suffers from this. I always blame too much time with a computer and not enough time with people. Chicken. egg

And that is how he treats those who supported him. Pence did his best to help Cruz in Indiana. Some thanks

I think Ted has Asperger’s. High-functioning in some respects, totally whacked in others.

Watched/listened to Cruz’s entire speech.

I did not find toxic and abusive in the slightest degree. It was a great speech. And I’m not a fan.

Last night, Cruz slappy Steve Deace was attacking THE CROWD, because there might have been Democrats tuned in, and what they were hearing was REPUBLICANS BOOING CONSCIENCE AND THE CONSTITUTION.

I wish I knew more about Deace—purely out of morbid curiosity. What a volcano of hate and delusions!

Far from toxic and abrasive! It was a great speech.

All huff and puff. What did this come from the puffington host?

I have been thinking since last night that Cruz is the Republican Al Gore.

This comment nailed it.

The use of the phrase “servile puppy” gives a stark insight into Ted’s warped personality. He believes being magnanimous and charitable is a severe weakness which he despises. He despised the gesture to allow him to speak at the convention as Trump being a weak-minded fool and he was determined to make him “pay”. To do otherwise would, in the psychopath’s mind, cast him as a “servile puppy” to Donald Trump, a man he despises for his weakness and who, being weak, still humiliated Ted by beating him badly.

If Trump had denied Cruz a slot, the Cruz slappies like Deace would have thrown a fit. Trump allowed Cruz to destroy himself. Of course, according to Steve Deace, everything would have been just fine if the crowd had not started booing! It’s all their fault!

Why do you say “inner”? There’s nothing “inner” about it.

Since I no longer listen to Beck, I will miss any attempt of Cruz to disinter his political career.
What a pity it has been to see Cruz self-destruct before our very eyes.
Before this primary campaign, I was puzzled why Cruz had a reputation of not getting along with his fellow Senators. Now, after these last few months, I see that he has many character flaws. Last night he demonstrated his smallness.

Cruz cannot hide his disrespect for anyone.
I hope that we have seen the last of him.

He mentioned Trump once, fleetingly, and never said his name again, nor did he congratulate him.The crowed yelled to him to “say the name”. Smirk and nothing.

I watch the entire speech too, while he was giving it .He was booed, commentators could not believe his lack of character, the Texas delegation was very angry with him, he was denied entrance to billionaire Adelson’s suite later in the evening, I could go on and on but why should I, do the research.

I don’t know what you were watching, and you surely are a fan, but Krauthammer, the former psychiatrist ,perfectly said of the Cruz performance last night “This is the longest suicide note that I have ever seen”.

Because he has no self-awareness that he is, indeed, a douche bag.

Mike Lee still loves him. Senator Lee shouted his love from the floor last night.
But I predict Cruz will be divorced within a year and that he will lose his 2018 Senate re-election.

Absolutely. And the contrast with Trump’s off-the-charts emotional IQ and peopld skills makes Cruz look even more handicapped.

Cruz’s thinking about people is totally one-dimensional. He thinks he should be President because he carries “conservative” ideas in his brain.

I told friends a while ago that I see a divorce between Heidi and Toxic Ted. Just like Al and Tipper. Both Al and Ted have a lot of the same personality disorder. We shall see.

Agreed.
