Blacks would be hurt the most? What an insult. They vote fine in NJ, even the dead know how to mark each individual candidate.

Blacks should take this as a direct insult from the courts.

Are they saying that black people are too stupid to know who to vote for?

Illinois abolished straight ticket voting in 1996 and it proved to be no windfall for the Republicans. Democrats continued to vote complete ballots and it turned out that more Republican candidates lost votes when it came time to vote for each and every office on the ballot.
What is sinister is that some of the recent election law litigation (Michigan and Texas) betrays the hand of Obama’s Justice Department trying to tip the scales for Hillary.

Yeah, the party that claims they care about blacks is always calling them too stupid to complete even the simplest tasks. Scum.

U.S. District Judge Gershwin Drain ruled Thursday that a Michigan law banning straight-ticket voting would place a disproportionate burden on African Americans' right to vote.

Straight line voting is good for the environment and fights global warming.
Only one mark, saves pencil lead or ink.
Saves time to count.
Makes it much easier hang that chad.

With more & more people voting outside of their declared party, straight ticket voting is awful! It truly deprives the voters of choice.

Do you know how much work it is to fill in each box for six million dead voters? Cut the DNC some slack Jack! One and done is the DNC way for illegals, pets, Disney characters, dead, and vegetative voters.

The federal courts intend to destroy the integrity of the ballot box on their way to establishing a marxist dictatorship. Time for the state’s to start saying no.

Isn’t straight ticket voting an option that voters can choose to exercise? As I recall, you can still vote for individual candidates if you prefer.

I really don’t know, I was confused, but my understanding is that it makes you vote straight party ticket. And yes, if you are that confused about who to vote for it is sad that you are voting.

Straight-ticket voting is an option that you can either use or ignore. If you only vote for Republicans or only vote for Democrats, it saves you the time of voting in each of the individual races. If you choose, you can mix parties by voting the races individually.
