Huge salute to law enforcement working the RNC. I was deeply concerned violence would visit the convention in some way.
Excellent job by all keeping attendees and the protestors safe. Free Speech in a proper and peaceful (with a few exceptions) was allowed. We had law and order AND our Constitutional rights on display.
May God be with these men and women and may we, with His mercy and grace, heal this great land!

I’m so pleased at the way things turned out. I kept hearing radio people say the Cleveland area was wall to wall with cops, on bikes or other wheels. I guess they were serious about keeping the peace after all.
The fact that Ohio is an Open Carry state probably scared a few folks off too. I really thought BLM was going to do something ugly.
We walked the talk: open carry at the GOP.

Just be careful. If you aren't carrying a communist or anarchy sign, you're free game to the rioters that CNN will characterize as protestors, and marvel about how more ordered they are as they bust windows and burn cars.
The only part of the convention I plan on watching is the coverage of what's outside.
Cleveland PD did WONDERFUL God Bless them..was so scared that something horrible would happen this week but the police did a SUPERB JOB..now those same protestors will go to the DNC Convention and have their little “Fart In” which should go smellingly LOL
I saw an article that stated ‘activists’ were very concerned because the police had made arrangements to process large numbers of arrests ... brought in additional court personnel, expanded hours, etc. It was obvious that the police weren’t going to be standing on the sidelines and allowing the protesters “space to destroy” as in Baltimore, etc. The chief actually went out himself on some of the bike patrols. The open carry was also mentioned as scaring some of the protesters off as well.
The really impressive units were the bicycle cops. They were outstanding to watch. Very impressive. The other huge factor was a pathetic number of protestors. One group of BLM that were very compliant numbered around 400. No other group was more than 150.

Yup. It was only the media desperately hoping there would be mass protests at the Republican Convention. It’s the Democrats who will feel the Bern. And rightly so.

They did do a good job. I was pleasantly surprised chaos did not rule. Philly might be a different story, though.

Soros and friends called the dogs off. He knew chaos at the RNC would only help Trump.
My worry is that he will clean them up and send them into the DNC with Trump signs. So armed, they will attack Dem delegates and the police. The idea is to make the left look angelic and the Trump people look like violent bigots.
I'm sure the new journolists have the scripts and the buzz words to use. As we've seen, "DARK" is THE main word already. We need to call them for using "Dark" to mean evil. Racist dog whistle.
