On Wednesday night, Trump’s middle son, Eric, took the stage and quickly became the most searched speaker of the night on Google. During his speech, Eric talked about his father’s passion for helping others, a trait he’s inherited from him. Similar to how Prince William and Prince Harry have carried on Princess Diana’s philanthropic legacy through their own charity organizations, Eric has put his money where his mouth is as well. He founded the Eric Trump Foundation — a charity that gives money to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital – and said during his speech that there are few things that he holds closer to his heart than charity.

The Clintons have a charity too!

I’ve heard tell that they spend as much as 05% of what they take in, on charitable causes. There’s an awful lot of “travel costs” in the charity bidness.

IIRC....Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country....was plagiarism. Hope my memory is right on this.

You recall correctly, it was, indeed...

Can you imagine what the skyline of DC will look like then? Can you picture a few alternations to The White House? Can you hear Mr. President saying 'we need it BIGGER!'?

Looking forward to it and him and them, becauce the next president will inherit a huge mess, in both foreign policy and domestic issues.

These kids are working full time, not making money through non-profit organisation or Government.

11 or 12...not so strange behavior for a kid that age.”

When my grandsons were this age you would not have found them happy at all to be dressed up in a suit and tie being forced to appear on TV and continuously reminded to smile at Midnight, long past their bedtime. Baron did quite well, all things considered. He is also a totally different generation and being ten years younger than his youngest stepsister has been raised in an entirely different world. Same father as the other kids but the comparisons should definitely end there IMO.

Thank you. Not enough people know the true story.
Jackie was such a phony.

This is a hard-working, accomplished family, but we don’t need a cult of personality.

Thank you.

I alway want to scream when someone brings up that spoiled jerk.

I can remember sending off a letter to the editor of “Newsweek” in order to critique someone’s column appearing in the week or so after Junior’s death. The writer had gone on at length about Junior’s potential. My basic question then and now: What did he ever accomplish?

There is one quality he had that was quite notable, but it was nothing that he could have taken credit for. He was one of the most handsome men this woman has ever seen.

Oh you can say that again, and let me add to it, that Hillary Rotten Clinton was.

Absolutely.

A friend of mine brought over his three granddaughters to visit; ages 12, 10, and 8.

The two younger girls had a ball driving my tractor. The older one declined. But after watching the fun the other two had she finally joined in and ended up with a huge grin on her face.

The challenge at age 12 is that one is not quite a child still but not quite an adult. Such a youngster can be very self-conscious while yearning to join the adults, though not very secure in their position.

Well, he can do that some other time, but Melanie Trump is not running for office.

I guess he’s at that age where he gets embarrassed when he gets a hug. Boys are like that.
