Revolution Unfolding Before Our Eyes
self | 7/25/2016 | LS

Posted on 07/25/2016 8:29:04 AM PDT by LS

Julian Assange says more is coming---that more Wikileaks will be emerging that would lead to Cankles' indictment.

Well, we know that won't happen, at least not for several months. But Assange's comment should alert everyone on both sides that the revolution we thought was brewing? It's brewed. It has achieved critical mass. And you see it in the polls.

Over the weekend, not only does CNN have Trump now at a 5-point lead, but if the election is head to head, Trump is at 48%. Given what are (as we well know) significant sampling biases in these polls---which I won't review again---it's very likely Trump is over 50 in this and other polls. He topped 50 in OAN yesterday. Freeper "Useless Future Eater" has deconstructed the rolling weekly USC poll that shows Trump with a 4-point lead . . . but last night it hit 47-37!

You can bet the media will be THRILLED to cover the Wikileaks so they don't have to talk about these polling trends. These are not just "bad polls" for Cankles: they are total disasters, showing her base starting to crumble (forget about the Indies, whom she lost a month ago). It also means that after the RNC, Trump has made his case: people see him as trustworthy.

But what all this means, in my estimation, is that Trump, like a good artilleryman, began softening up the ground two or three months ago with his "Crooked Hillary" characterization. This was perfectly apt, clever, and above all, 100% accurate. Now comes the invasion, in this case, by Wikileaks. This is a drumbeat of proof of Trump's Crooked Hillary mantra.

It is brilliant. Trump has done to the Dems and the media what they had done to countless Republicans for decades: tar and feather them in advance so that the slightest misstep becomes a fatal weakness. But of course, the DNC leaks were a wee bit more than a "slight misstep"---it was thoroughgoing corruption and collusion with the media from bottom to top. If you're "lyin' Ted," all it took was one statement even remotely estranged from the truth for voters to say, "Yeah, that guy does lie" and with "Crooked Hillary," all it took was a few leaks for people to go, "Trump is right." In fact, his "dishonest media" comments months ago are, like "lyin' Ted" and "Crooked Hillary" have already framed the picture for people to see. Wiki only turns the lights on brighter.

This is all the more delicious because the media is forced to cover, and apologize for, and deflect from, it's own complicit corruption. When Trump says "Hillary Should Resign," he can also point to (as he has done) the "dishonest media" and now, for the first time ever, people say, "He may have something there."

As if all this wasn't bad enough, Cankles has already been beaten on two big issues, crime and terrorism (really, the same issue in many ways). By not saying "Radical Islamic Terrorism" she is stuck for the next 3 months explaining why she won't say that. And as we know, sadly, there will be attack after attack coming in the next three months. The crocodiles have found their feeding grounds, and won't go away until killed. So there is no hope whatsoever Cankles can win on this issue, and sadly we can expect more cop attacks as long as the Moslem-in-Chief continues cop-bashing. Cankles can't escape that either.

I predicted a couple of months ago Trump would win big, but not a "landslide" which needs to include either CA or NY. Now, I'm not sure it won't be a landslide. I also thought the popular vote would be a 2% difference. It's going to be much bigger. Given the presence of 3rd and 4th parties that will take votes, I am now projecting that Cankles will barely get 40%, Trump over 50%, and the other people split the difference. Right now, even NY doesn't look entirely out of reach. Some worried the "neverTrumpers" would deny Trump an electoral victory. Now, it's quite the opposite: the "NeverCankles" voters may out of spite deny her even "safe spaces" like CA, CT, and NY. (When you see polls with Trump down only four in CT, or only 12 in NY, you know this is indeed a revolution).

There is one concern, though, and it isn't that the Dems will replace Cankles (Benie would have his own massive problems, as would anyone else stuck in at this late moment). That concern is Bill Clinton's health. In my view, the ONLY thing that can save Cankles is the demise of the ill former president, which would generate enormous sympathy for her. We all need to pray for the continued health and well being of Slick. While alive, he ensures Cankles will never be president. Hope he has a food taster.

She should be prosecuted but the reality is that Trump will have his hands full with far more pressing problems and won’t want to deal with this kind of distraction. He’ll want to focus on moving forward with his agenda instead of dealing with the Clinton crime syndicate. Realistically, there’s no way a former president and first lady will ever be incarcerated. Its too politically charged and a legal nightmare. After the last 8 years of political disaster people want to turn the page. We’ll have to settle for the satisfaction of defeating them. Just my opinion.

"I predicted a couple of months ago Trump would win big, but not a "landslide" which needs to include either CA or NY. "

Far be it from me to want to jinx anything but just a couple of things...

1) Trump is from New York, you know... I've heard that the unions consider him a tough, shrewd businessman who holds up his end of a deal once a deal is made. He just might have a favor or two to call in as well...

2) Bill Clinton's successes were in no small measure because he owned the black vote. I would go so far to generalize about the blacks I know, to say that they detest phonies and liars, white or black. (They might actually detest the black ones more than the white ones, but that's another story.) Whatever Bill Clinton's secret was to locking up (let's call it 100 percent of) the black vote, Hillary ain't endowed with it. She'll lose at least 10 percent of it, possibly more, which could be a problem for her... she just be a lyin' bitch, y'know?

I've always said that I won't be surprised if Trump carries New York and maybe some others.

As for The Granola State, that would indeed be a coup of Biblical proportion IMO.

Time will tell, but I'm cautiously optimistic right now that Trump will win and there can also be some attrition of certain unsavory characters from the Republican party... perhaps foreshadowed by the longest suicide speech ever on the last nite of the convention.

Time will tell...

Many thought Trump was trolling with the taco bowl on Cinco de Mayo, but it appears to have gone much further up the line than anyone might have thought at the time, given the Wikileaks emails.

MILES and MILES of fence for the DNC convention. Not one piece of wire to stop the Mexican invasion.

Something In the Air - Thunderclap Newman

Call out the instigator
Because there’s something in the air
We’ve got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution’s here
And you know it’s right
And you know that it’s right

We have got to get it together
We have got to get it together, now

Run through the fields and houses
Because there’s something in the air
We’ve got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution’s here
And you know it’s right
And you know that it’s right

We have got to get it together
We have got to get it together, now

Call out the instigator

.....Or maybe have someone else handle that mess called the “Clinton crime syndicate”, such as a new AG, a possible position given to one Gov. Christie? That will help to turn the page and go forward. Just a reflection.

1) Correct. He has a real shot.

2) Correct. No way Cankles connects with blacks like BC.

Not really. With all the protests being reported, it could get more of those so-called “dunderheads” to wake up and smell the coffee.

Sound analysis of our prospects; fair characterizations of the enemy.

While I, ordinarily, would take no stock in polls 3 1/2 months before the election; my own consideration of some of the psychological dynamics in play, this time, strongly suggests a landslide.

Those dynamics include (1) the reaction of normal people to the freak show being planned for Philadelphia, this week;

(2) the confused mindset of Democratic strategists, stupid enough to believe that it is good politics to run a war against local police, as part of their election strategy in a time of social turmoil;

(3) the fact that the Police are being turned into a virtual grass-roots precinct organization as a result of that confused mindset, dominating the Democratic convention;

and (4) a lot of similar idiocy in play, all point to the same result in November.

The Clinton campaign is being run by people who for the past quarter century have relied on American haters in the media to protect them; with the result that they are totally out-of-touch with how normal men & women will react to their ideologically driven misconceptions of reality. Trump will mop up the floor with them, using their own recorded antics in the process.

I will bet a dollar to a doughnut that WikiLeaks will show proof that the Clinton E- mail server was hacked, contrary to their claim that no hacking took place.
I can’t predict the timing, but it WILL happen.

I heartily disagree, and I think Trump has made it clear, I heard him say several times he will go after Hitlery, and Bergdahl, and “others”. I have little doubt he agrees with Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn:

“In keeping silent about evil, in burying it so deep within us that no sign of it appears on the surface, we are implanting it, and it will rise up a thousand fold in the future. When we neither punish nor reproach evildoers, we are not simply protecting their trivial old age, we are thereby ripping the foundations of justice from beneath new generations.”

What really makes me sick about the Kasich situation is that his feud with Trump completely negates the advantage the GOP has with having a sitting governor from the party in Ohio.

You seem to be under the impression kasich is a republican. He most certainly is not nor is he a conservative. He just wears the disguise to cause trouble in the rep party. He is and always has been a full on dem.

If it walks, talks, sounds, and dresses like a duck, it's probably a duck.

Thank you. Interesting the thought about Trump and Assange doing a deal, I hope so.

I agree with everything except Wikileaks - imho the MSM is having to report it because it is so HUGE but they’d rather not, as it dips them in s*** as well. Of course they don’t want to address Trump’s real poll numbers but they’ve always tried to avoid any real numbers.

We shall see; more emails a-comin’ down the tube.

I have never, ever in my whole life seen “politics” as interesting as this, and I’ve been watching (with a hiatus here and there) since I was 15.

Do you know if the news from Turkey is getting mainstream at all? I read elsewhere, and now Erdog is openling blaming the us and one commander in particular as being the instigator. All US/NATO bases in Turkey are blocked at the gates with big equipment. I haven’t read it on FR but I certainly don’t read everything.

LS,
Thanks for the analysis. FYI, the ending of Edward Klein’s book, “Blood Feud” quotes Bill Clinton about using his imminent death (probably from whatever disease he’s been battling from the looks of him) to help win this election. He goes so far as to strategize how to use his funeral to gain sympathy, i.e., votes. Quite unbelievable, yet believable.

We need to pray for the continued “health” of Trump, if you know what I mean. Her machine took out JFK Jr. so she’d have a clear path to the Senate. I’ve no doubt they’d go after Trump if they can’t win.
