Crowdstrike, the firm that responded to the hack, tracks dozens of advanced cyberespionage operations, many affiliated with governments. Each group has distinct ways of attacking their targets, down to the malicious software signatures they use. Several cybersecurity firms have verified Crowdstrike's findings that the perpetrators of the DNC attack were the two known Russian groups, and there is no evidence independent hackers could be separately responsible for the leaks.

Since what we’re hearing doesn’t pass the smell test, here’s an off-the-wall, out of the box thought. I have been saying that I do not know how the Intelligence Community in THIS country allows Hilly to be elected president after what she did with her private server. She outed sources and methods, she destroyed billions in collection resources that have been built up over years, she very likely has gotten people killed and has given all sorts of highly sensitive info to our enemies. What if ... this is a deep cover “inside” job to take Hilly down, made to look like the Russians and done in such a way that Hilly cannot blame the Intelligence Community? Obama wouldn’t even know about it, or the DOJ/FBI. A lot of people in the Intelligence Community are VERY unhappy with what Hilly did and the fact that she’s not accountable for any of it - they have the connections to do this.
