FBI Now Investigating DNC Emails: Instead of Blaming Republicans, Dems are Now Blaming the Russians
Townhall.com ^ | July 25, 2016 | Justin Holcomb

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is once again involved with Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party. On Monday, the agency confirmed that it is investigating the release of thousands of e-mails that explicitly show tactics used to prevent Bernie Sanders from winning the Democratic nomination.

And once again, one of Clinton's counter-parts has suddenly resigned as a result of a tumultuous scandal.

"The FBI is investigating a cyber intrusion involving the DNC and are working to determine the nature and scope of the matter," the agency said in a statement. "A compromise of this nature is something we take very seriously, and the FBI will continue to investigate and hold accountable those who pose a threat in cyberspace."

Usually, when Clinton is attacked on her record and mischievous, reckless, and outright criminal behavior, she blames Republican conspiracy theorists. This time, with no one to blame but herself and the DNC for their constant security failures, she is blaming the Russians.

So the FBI is investigating the hack. That is legitimate. But is the FBI investigating all of the illegal activity revealed by the leaked documents? That is also legitimate.

The FBI's silence is deafening!

It gets better - the evening ministry-of-truth news has a new narrative and have tied Trump's public lack of enthusiasm for NATO because he is actually aligned with the Russians - they didn't directly accuse him - but left it unsaid that Trump is a Russian agent. The DNC and their pet media monkeys are getting funnier by the hour.

DNC rep had to fumble around before coming up with the claim that the Russians gave the emails to “...uh, hackers” - couldn’t admit they went to Wikileaks, so leftwing they make Bernie look like a KKKer - Wikileaks sure isn’t releasing the emails to help Trump - they want to see Hillary gone.....

Hey Comey,

If you take the allegations seriously enough to devote scarce FBI resources to it (given our infiltration by jihadist hordes at the explicit invite of the White House)...

isn't it time you re-thought that "no reasonable prosecutor" standard?

PS Shouldn't you be looking into HSBC drug-money laundering? Or is that a "no reasonable HSBC board of directors" standard violation?

The rats ought to blame themselves for their own rotten activity that they wanted to hide from everyone. But no...somehow the Russians should take the blame. They are NUTS.

I saw Hillary say that Benghazi wasn’t her fault “it wasn’t my ball to carry”. Couldn’t believe my ears! She is apparently blaming a lower level “security” group. Well what does this say about her leadership abilities. She will NEVER get the hang of actually being in charge.

These rats are disasters ...parasites on the hard working and successful people in this country.

It's just a "security review", it's not an investigation! The FBI has already proven that it does not really investigate email scandals. C'mon. Just ask the Chaffetz committee.....

Ya think maybe her unsecured server was maybe the ENTRY point for the leaks?

Some (ok, most) Democrats don't have two brain cells to rub together.

Curious how the FBI is more interested in how those e-mails were obtained rather than the racketeering, money-laundering, influence-peddling, document-leaking, felonious bitch those e-mail leaks implicate.

George Will just implied on “Special Report” that Trump has taken Russian money and that’s why he hasn’t released his tax returns. Little Georgie can’t control his beltway Trump-hate.

Note to Comey: Putin is one of the few people it would be even more dangerous to indict than Hillary.

IF this happened some months ago, all of the salient evidence was collectible 12 hours after it happened, and it disappeared within days. If they haven’t figured it out by now, they won’t. My money is on a DNC inside job someone did it for money or fame, or, the most difficult to find, for principle.

Any further “investigation” is horse poop.

I wonder what Debbie Blabbermouth Schultz’s interview was like for the Hillary campaign.

Are you are willing to lie? Check!

Are you willing to cheat? Check!

In that case you are HIRED!!!

Another staunch "Republican," Joe Scarborough, used that same talking point this morning; must be a lot of meme sharing going on.
