Refugee Jihad Spreads in Germany-Why the recent wave of attacks is only the beginning

Refugee Jihad Spreads in Germany

Why the recent wave of attacks is only the beginning.

The German people are suffering the consequences of Chancellor Angela Merkel’s reckless open door “refugee” policy. Merkel laid down the welcome mat for around a million migrants last year, many of them from troubled areas of the Middle East and South Asia, including Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. There have been four violent attacks in Germany within just the past week. Two of them were committed by Syrian migrants. A third was committed by an Afghan asylum seeker. The fourth, a mass shooting in Munich, was committed by the German-born son of Iranian asylum-seekers.

ISIS had forewarned that attacks in Germany were coming. Shortly after the Brussels airport attack, ISIS sent out a call for an attack on Germany’s Cologne airport.  An ISIS video threatened to turn Germany into a “battle field” and targeted Chancellor Merkel for murder. After the attack in Nice, ISIS supporters celebrated on social media and said that Germany was next.

Now that the attacks have started, German government officials are trying to calm peoples’ fears, minimizing as much as possible any connection to ISIS.  Chancellor Merkel’s Chief of Staff Peter Altmaier actually claimed early last week, after the first attack, that terrorist acts committed by refugees are “not larger or smaller than that in the rest of the population."

However, the official explanations, including claims as to the mental instability of the perpetrators, ignore the reality that the attackers find legitimacy for acting on their hatred from the “new normal” of violence created by the successful actions of ISIS.

At least two of the most recent attacks in Germany have been directly linked to ISIS.

A Syrian asylum seeker, whom had pledged his allegiance to ISIS, blew himself up last Sunday and injured twelve other people, outside of a wine bar in the town of Ansbach.  It could have been far worse. His original target appeared to have been a music festival, but fortunately he was turned away because he did not have a ticket to the event. ISIS claimed that the suicide bomber "was a soldier of the Islamic State."

The Afghan refugee who attacked train passengers in Germany early last week, injuring four people, two of them critically, was found to have had an ISIS flag in his room. He is reported to have shouted "Allahu Akbar" (God is great) several times. A news agency linked to ISIS claimed the assailant "carried out the operation in answer to the calls to target the countries of the coalition fighting the Islamic State."

A machete-wielding Syrian asylum-seeker, who killed a pregnant woman in Germany, was arrested on Sunday. The police claim that, based on the current evidence, “there is no indication that this was a terrorist attack."  Nevertheless, ISIS exploited the incident to urge more so-called “lone wolf” attacks.

The shooting spree at a shopping mall in Munich last Friday, which resulted in the deaths of nine people, in addition to the shooter who killed himself, appears to have been the work of a mentally deranged German born son of parents whom had emigrated from Iran. Deranged or not, the killer managed to shout out the Islamic rallying cry, “Allahu Akbar,” according to the Daily Mail. When some Germans gathered peaceably over the weekend to mourn the victims of this vicious attack, they were met by more shouts of “Allahu Akbar.”

Some German officials, channeling President Obama, are calling for stricter gun control even though Germany already has very strict laws and three of the four attacks during the last week were not carried out with guns.

Local authorities are also calling for the compulsory teaching of Islam in Germany’s schools. “It is appropriate to bring in classes on Islam in state schools or schools overseen by the state,” Gerd Landsberg, head of the association of local councils, said last week. This is multiculturalism on steroids. And it will most certainly backfire. Does anyone seriously think that jihadists are just going to sit back and outsource the teaching of Islam to “Crusader” schools using token Muslims as teachers whom the jihadists consider infidels? It is the mosques in Germany where youth are indoctrinated by radical imams. They also learn the path of jihad from their peers on the street or in jails, as well as from radical Islamist propaganda on the Internet.

At least some German officials concerned with security recognize that there is a problem with the flow of refugees entering their country. The following is a quote from Germany’s 2015 Annual Report on The Protection of The Constitution: Facts and Trends:

“Islamist organisations in Germany see the tide of refugees from Syria and Iraq as a chance to gain new followers by winning refugees over to their extremist ideology under the cover of humanitarian aid. Such activities are likely to increase in future. The contacts Salafists or Islamists make with refugees will remain relevant to Germany's domestic intelligence services…Particular attention has to be paid to so-called unaccompanied young refugees since, due to their situation, they are likely to be particularly susceptible to Islamist promises…Given the continuous immigration into Germany, it also has to be assumed that active or former members, supporters, and sympathisers of terrorist organisations as well as individuals with an extremist orientation and/or Islamistically motivated war criminals may be among the refugees.”

For years, Western European governments have tolerated the rise of radical Islam in their countries for fear of being branded Islamophobes. They also did not want to discourage Muslim immigrants needed to add to the labor force. However, the jihad cancer has grown out of control. Indeed, it is now reaching a near terminal state as Islamist refugees, who refuse to assimilate into the culture of their new home or accept its values, trample on the lives of their hosts. Germany is in the direct eye of the storm.

It’s almost the end of July .... schools terms will begin soon, some next month & the rest in early September. I know someone who was just hired as a teacher after graduating college - I cannot help but have some concern for her and the kids/teachers all around America. The schools are soft targets.

BTW, the NRA has a program to help schools protect children if such an event occurs ... they provide it free of charge and it includes free online web assessment, a team of security experts coming to the actual school and doing an analysis and grant funding schools can request in order to complete projects and activities focused on improving school security nationwide. . This is something you never hear about in the news and it WILL save lives if a school that is attacked (by Jihadis, deranged gunmen like Sandy Hook, etc.) have gone through the program.

If you are a parent, you should be demanding that your school participate in the National School Shield Program:

Its a damned shame ISIS hasn’t succeeded in its goal to kill Merkel. That actually might save innocent German lives down the road.

A quibble....but I don’t think the IRA forced the British to the bargaining table. I think the IRA ran out of steam b/c the British turned all of the top IRA brass into British agents, and those cleansed the organization from within. When it was all said and done, you ended up with a peace deal which was pretty much what Thatcher proposed so long ago (but of course with a European overlay).

But like I said...that is only a quibble. The point that a relatively small but determined group can cause even large countries to expend considerable resources and change policies is spot on.

I have drawn my own conclusions about the appliability of The Troubles to the current Islamic problem...and that is this: that the citizens of the European countries most affected need to organize a paramilitary response to immediately strike back, tit for tat, just like the IRA, et al., and the UVF, et al., did back then in N. Ireland. The leaders of both of these groups were forever on the run, and strangely, I think that the paramilitaries served the purpose of not letting The Troubles become an actual civil war that engulfed the entire country. Perhaps I am wrong about that. But you have to be in awe of how ruthless and efficient they were in responding when the other side did something. I don’t see how a French resistance along these lines would be anything other than a net gain for the people of France. Bc clearly the state is not going to protect the people.

The Euros just don’t have the security forces to deal with that. They will submit to sharia law by degrees.”

This is, in fact, the most realistic prediction of what will happen. Because it’s either this, or a very serious fight which the Europeans are unable and unwilling to fight

They will submit by degrees to lessen the pain.

The alternative is a civil war that would leave European cities looking like Warsaw in 1945.

Right.

I have been saying this since last fall within my spheres of influence: Europe has to fight (destruction all around), or submit. There are no other options, and the option that liberals think is there, that we all live side by side, simply doesn’t exist in Islam. Right after I started saying this within my own spheres of influence, tragically, Paris happened. But I think that got a few people’s attention.

Your outstanding historical overview is in this regard, spot on.

The muslims now have a large enough demographic in many European nations that they feel comfortable enough in their no-go zones carry out their plan of genocidal conquest.

The destruction of a culture is part of the definition of genocide. Can anyone deny that Western culture is being attacked and changed. If you do not believe it just go to the airport and remember what it was like to fly 10 years ago, 20 years ago, 30 years ago, 40 years ago and 50 years. Islamic terrorism is responsible for all those changes and losses of freedom and comfort.

Canary Wharf etc losing a billion dollars in windows, cleanup and lost opportunity costs every few weeks was not exactly the IRA running out of steam, but as you said, that’s a quibble.

To get the Muslims out of Europe will make the Irish Troubles seem like a church picnic, once the car bombs start exploding (and they will.)

Right. Canary Wharf was big...but I guess the question becomes: what was it that actually drove the parties getting to the table to actually put into place a process of de-escalation and eventually a functioning government...or to put it differently, who won, and who lost? I don’t see how we can say that the British lost. What eventually happened is what they had proposed long before. And it is a fact that the top IRA guys still alive at the end were British agents. (Incidentally, I believe, but certainly don’t know that both Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinness were paid off, as well, and that they were all working together to reach the solution....I believe that Adams and McGuinness saw where things were headed, and they wanted to transition to “legitimate” life, so they cooperated and voila, look at them now. But again, I don’t know that...though I have read some speculation).

So again the question is, what “caused” the negotiations and process to actually happen?

I suppose the answer to that, as with all history, is very complex. But personally, I think from the longer view, you have to say, the IRA was defeated by the British. Not vice versa.

Interestingly....in the now rather confused, new Irish/UK/EU context...Sinn Fein may enjoy a resurgence....AND now that I think about it....and since we are doing the long view of history....I think it is only a matter of time that Ireland becomes one unit as an island. The loyalist population in the North is dying out, or simply leaving. No one really cares much about this particular question....but both in the North and in Ireland, people do care very much about their socialism, and they believe that they will be net recipients of EU benefits to be in the EU.

So....along with Brexit, I think a longer term result of all this is that Ireland in 30 or 40 years becomes one country, in the EU....which brings us back to the original question of, what becomes of the EU? Which leads back to your article....Certainly Ireland is no better equipped to deal with Islam than anywhere else in Europe.

Sigh.

I'm surprised there hasn't been some pushback in all of the European countries overrun by the mohammedan hordes.

You would think that at least some level headed patriots would have moved to stop the madness.

But then, I'm also surprised things have gone as far as they have here in America over the last 7½ years.

It is strange. My interpretation of what is going on in Germany is that the Eastern German population was pretty well socialized under the Russians and their reliance on government along with the obedience to the authority of the state instilled in them for several generations. When West Germany and East Germany united, these people suddenly had political power and used it to recreate a system with which they were most familiar. Sort of like some minority populations recently in America.
