Posters here, have been pushing pence ( mostly for president ), for over a decade. Back then, he was NOT the pence we see today, so I wasn’t impressed, at all. Then Trump took him for VEEP and I thought....well, I can hold my nose fore him, we have TRUMP. LOL...now I like Pence. :-)
