IRS Commissioner John Koskinen referred congressional charges of corrupt Clinton Foundation “pay-to-play” activities to his tax agency’s exempt operations office for investigation, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.
The request to investigate the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation on charges of “public corruption” was made in a July 15 letter by 64 House Republicans to the IRS, FBI and Federal Trade Commission (FTC). They charged the foundation is “lawless.”
The initiative is being led by Rep. Marsha Blackburn, a Tennessee Republican who serves as the vice chairwoman of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, which oversees FTC. The FTC regulates public charities alongside the IRS.
The lawmakers charged the Clinton Foundation is a “lawless ‘pay-to-play’ enterprise that has been operating under a cloak of philanthropy for years and should be investigated.”

The Clinton Crime Family was not sophisticated enough to understand the financial “oversights” , aka. also known as “The Comey Defense”.
So they can tell the press and Congress "I can't comment on that due to the ongoing investigation.."
Just a way to delay and hide
We all know what that means.
From now until the end of the “investigation” any questions to the IRS regarding the Clinton Foundation will be with the following answer , “ I'm sorry, but we are unable to comment at this time due the on going investigation” and all FOIA requests will denied for similar reasons
The Clinton Campaign will if course call the investigation a politically motivated witch hunt by the vast right wing conspiracy that hates strong women and wants to prevent Hillary from doing really wonderful things, all for the children, of course.
For their part, the Clinton campaign spokesman and Hillary herself cannot take questions or comment on any specifics regarding Clinton Foundation corruption due to an ongoing investigation and will refer the reporter to the IRS to ask any question regarding the investigation ( see above).
The Clinton's have this signature scandal management play from their damage control playbook copyrighted.
Julian Aussange may be shortly releasing critical emails about the slush fund. One can hope.

I had read somewhere that they had found stuff on the Clinton Foundation server that was WORSE than the top secret emails. She was in posession of “need to know” documents that never leave their secure location. They found income/deposits corresponding with the dates/info they received about the movement/selling of the documents/info. AND of course, the money was laundered thru the CF....
How very interesting that they are going in thru the backdoor, like they did with Al Capone and got him on tax evasion.
Bill Clinton doesn’t look like he’s going to be around much longer either...so I suppose further negotiations held on the tarmac will be up to Huma- maybe she’ll come out after Bill goes- what a bump that would be in October: first woman, first gay POTUS.

Yep,this is the same IRS that targeted conservative groups so this “investigation” is a joke until the IRS is fumagated of these bugs running it, and Trump will do that. He said twice already he will see Hillary prosecuted if he is elected

Investigate her so they can pronounce that she is not guilty.

That’s good timing. It might move some of the undecideds away from Hillary.
