Never before has a spouse talked about a presidential nominee at a political convention quite like Bill Clinton described Hillary Clinton here on Tuesday night. Then again, a man has never talked about a woman in this context before.

Bill Clinton is the most famous adulterer in American history. Did he think that nobody thought about that when he was making his speech?

I’m not sure what Hillary ever was to Bill but I’m pretty sure that Bill was never more than a means to an end for Hillary.

Hmmm. Dolly Kyle describes Hillary in their first meeting as wearing a shapeless brown dress and smelling of BO and her greasy her reeking bad smell.

Somebody needs to say that to Billy Goat’s face ..... there’s not enough spackle to cover how red his nose/face would become. As someone said last night, he looked “embalmed”.
I will say that Billy Goat has a way of subtly sabotaging Hilly & I think he did it (again) last night. Rachel Maddcow was on to it sort of with her remarks**. Billy Goat made SUCH a big deal about their marriage ... he saw her, that girl, etc. etc. Basically, he made the very “loving” case that without marrying Bill, she would have remained a ‘nothing’. She rode to all her success on HIS coattails and he droned on and on about it. I wonder how happy she really was with him last night after that speech because she knows him well enough to know what he was doing.

Hillary was a means to an end for Bill as well. They are fellow travelers, gypsies by ancestry. Hill followed Bill around during his escapades and provided the means for him to extricate himself from a variety of tangled webs. She became his indispensable fixer. She gave him the freedom to engage in behavior that would have grounded a less enabled man.
Hillary’s bid for the presidency is payback. She is not satisfied to perch on her billions and luxuriate. She wants the world and by God she will have it, Trump be damned.
