One of the largest newspapers in all of Texas, which previously endorsed Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, has now officially endorsed Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Captain Obvious tells me it’s the Bushies.
It’s in Houston, where God will insert the nozzle should He decide in His infinite wisdom, that it’s time for Texas to get an enema.
Houston we have a problem!
Cruz home
Whoa! A newspaper endorsement! Hillary ‘56!
I fully agree.... Their really P O that Jeb didn't get his crown...
Stunned? No, expected and you’ll be hearing it in every city with a gay mayor across the country. Austin will announce their support for Hillary next.
Their endorsement albeit insane is also in sync with the mental illness of the before mentioned perverts. Expect to see many eruptions of insanity before and after November!
This is definitely shaping up to be a people vs. establishment election.
A testimony to their utter stupidity and arrogance.
The Houston Chronicle represents the status quo. Trump threatens the established powers (Bushes, Cruz, RNC, DNC).
We can expect the media to declare all out war against Trump, which will likely strengthen him and give him even greater credibility as an outsider and a renegade.
They must have been swayed by the eloquent, powerful case Cruz made at the convention re the need to back Trump as the best way to stop Hillary.
The libtards think that Shrillary, who is “extremely careless” (i..e., negligent) with top secret national security information, is a trustworthy choice???? Shrillary, who couldn’t even handle the before, during, and after of Benghazi, an episode that proved her unworthy of ever holding a sensitive position in the US govt again.
good thing nobody reads the newspaper anymore.....its just Bird Cage poop liner.
LOL!
You sure know how to paint a word picture, mk!
LIVING IN HOUSTON, I can explain how the Chronicle operates, given its very conservative readership:
1) First, if the race is competitive, they will ALWAYS SUPPORT THE DEMOCRAT - as that is who they are - their other editorials make their hatred of this country abundantly clear. They are owned by Hearst, and their ‘journalists’ come from the same ‘journalism schools’ as the New York Times and the Washington Post - so let’s get that out of the way first.
2) Second, if the race is NOT COMPETITIVE in Texas, they will support the presumed winner - which these days means the Republican, with few exceptions. Which is why they’ll support both John Culberson (a conservative House member) and Sheila Jackson Lee in the same editorial, as both almost always have token opposition. That’s why they could endorse Bush twice, and Romney, and McCain - TEXAS SIMPLY DIDN’T MATTER as the presidential vote as a foregone conclusion in this state, and no one outside of Texas cared what they said. Let the president be elected by the popular vote and everyone would see just who the Chronicle is.
3) Third, if the race is not competitive in Texas, but they still hate the Republican, they will not endorse anyone. This happened with Tom Delay towards the end - they said something like “vote for anyone but him, he’s going to win anyway, but just vote for anyone else”.
The above policy enables them to CLAIM CREDIBILITY with our side, when it simply doesn’t exist. So Trump in Texas seems a bit out of character for them, and so, to me, that implies that they think the race may be a bit more competitive here, possibly given Cruz’s antics - although I disagree.
But the one thing to take away here - THE HOUSTON CHRONICLE HAS NEVER BEEN CONSERVATIVE - even though they will endorse some Republicans when it will have zero effect on the outcome.
The Houston Chrinic is a far left rag.
They were busted mocking a little girl who supported George W as”brainwashed.”
They endorsed Obama and every lib I’ve ever seen.
Then captain obvious is an idiot.
The HC is a liberal rag and always very anti bush.
Did the Chronicle endorse Romney or Obama the last time?
