Maybe.

But don’t forget 1962,

“You won’t have Nixon to kick around anymore....”

Jump to 1968

Never count a good man out.

I want to like Ted Cruz, but he hurt himself by not endorsing Trump.

I'm not sure Ted believes he has a bad future, he's a Dominionist who believes he was sent to lead America.

I imagine he is just thinking about which path he has to take to get there

++++

For those who are interested, here is an explanation of Dominionism.

Dominionism teaches:

The Gospel of Salvation is achieved by setting up the "Kingdom of God" as a literal and physical kingdom to be "advanced" on Earth in the present age.

Some dominionists liken the New Testament Kingdom to the Old Testament Israel in ways that justify taking up the sword, or other methods of punitive judgment, to war against enemies of their kingdom.

Dominionists teach that men can be coerced or compelled to enter the kingdom.

They assign to the Church duties and rights that belong Scripturally only to Jesus Christ. This includes the esoteric belief that believers can "incarnate" Christ and function as His body on Earth (where have we heard that?) to establish His kingdom rule.

An inordinate emphasis is placed on man's efforts; the doctrine of the sovereignty of God is diminished.

I was an early Cruz supporter, but he jumped the shark. He turned out to be petty. His future in politics is zero.

We see it over and over again with narcissists. They are so in love with themselves that they refuse to see the reality that not everyone is in love with them. If he was not going to endorse Trump then he should have stayed home just like Mit Romney.

The thing about digging yourself into a hole is that at some point you need to stop or you just keep going deeper and deeper. In this case Rafael Cruz needs to keep on digging maybe he will come out in China.

When I was a kid, I remember George Romney refusing to endorse Barry Goldwater when he was nominated. His political career ended right then.

I was a Ted cruz supporter. I voted for Ted Cruz in the Primary. Because of what he did to Donald Trump, he's dead to me.

Paraphrasing Michael Corleone:

Ted Cruz, you're nothing to me now. You're not a brother, you're not a friend. I don't want to know you or what you do. I don't want to see you at the hotels, I don't want you near my house. When you visit my town, I want to know a day in advance, so I won't be there. You understand?

Trump is going to clean house - open the windows and doors and sweep it clean.

Trump is probably the only politician in my lifetime - and I am in my 80’s - that will take the helm beholden to no one - he can’t be bribed or blackmailed. What GOPe is left - the Bushes, Cruz , Kashic, etc, have already saved Trump the trouble and marginalized themselves ahead of time - will chose to pull their horns in and hope to ride it out intact rather than try to dictate to Trump, especially as to who he will have for advisors, who in what cabinet positions etc.

Therefore, Trump will be able to put the right people in the right places - and I doubt many will be people currently in those jobs.

Reagan, tho’ he got a lot of what he wanted to done, was unable to get a lot more done because he was forced to take people he did not want - starting with Johnson as his VP - the last person he wanted. He despised Johnson - and it was mutual.

TRUMP will hire his own crew - and I suspect “YOU”RE FIRED” will be a phrase that will echo in the hallowed halls.

This is the ONLY chance we have of rooting out the establishment of the corrupt cabal elite...by getting not just a good man in as President - but one who can hire his own team of non-Harvard lawyers, non insiders/elites.

‘Has to be a clean sweep - no rotten apples left.

And after 8 years of a Trump-run gov’t and hopefully 8 more years of a Republican that will carry it on - ie, 16 years of marginalized GOPe and DemRats = the New World Orderers will be dead or forgotten - and unknown by a whole new generation of voters - hopefully who have been given a REAL education - even able to write cursive = LOL
