Only the law as written on the books and signed by the governor can be used to prosecute a resident. Imagine a prosecutor going before a judge and presents the pre-trial case when there is no written law the citizen was arrested under.
Judge: GTFO

My error, I guess I mean the MA AG.
The governor should remove the AG. Do it by exec ordr. If the ag can do dxec oreers let the gov do exdc orders to get rid of underlings.
I’m wonderin how an AG can make the law ? Could she be sued for that under the state constitution ?
Those display cases and pegboards will be empty in 5 years; under 3 if Hitlery gets elected.
John Adams must be spinning in his grave right now.
Would anyone arrested be able to file suit claiming false imprisonment? They tried that with the cops who arrested Freddie Gray but having a prosecutor make up laws to arrest folks seems like it’d be an obvious case. Would it be legal to resist cops trying to arrest under an illegal warrant?
The fine would be huge and arbitrarily, at the discretion of the AG, include jail time.
This woman is a Stalinist.
This is why we call it ‘MASSOFTWOSH*TS”
Build yourself a weapon or two based on an 80% lower.
It’s invisible to them....
Bet on that if Hitlary gets elected.
They’ll be writing anti-2nd law in all 50 states, and trying to enforce it with a new, much larger force of JBTs. It’ll get real ugly, real quick.
IMO this should be classified as a “taking”. The stores in good faith purchased inventory for resale. To suddenly drop a law that their inventory is illegal to sell is a confiscation of their assets. Their cash is tied up in inventory which they must destroy, tantamount to asking them to burn cash. They should be compensated by the state, or, the state should buy all the guns out of inventory. Not to say that I approve of the law, just that the state is taking their property without full compensation.
Scary stuff,
Just remember that if you’ve ever bought a papered firearm or had a CCW permit, you’re probably in a database somewhere, all claims to the contrary notwithstanding. Visible or not, the main thing now is to get as many of them lawfully into the hands of free men as possible.
Connecticut Governor is pushing the same. So far the gun shop owner’s have held him off, but to their expense as they can’t sell certain guns. It is just a mess and some gun shops are closing. Here it comes, yes, ugly.
“It might be easy for people outside of MA to write this off — “stupid Massachusetts, those people deserve it anyway, whatever.” But be warned, Healy is angling to be Hillary’s AG, and whether it’s her or someone else, if Hillary is elected this WILL happen on a national level.”
Absolutely right! If Hillary is elected, not only will gun shops Be told they cannot sell such rifles, but she probably will decree that people must turn them in.
Move to a free state!
