Somewhere deep inside Aunt Clara knows that you are visiting her and bringing her presents. Good for you.
I just finished my homework, so I’m going to bed.
Sleep tight when you get there.

Spent a night there with other Boy Scouts of America on the way to the 50th National Jamboree held in Colorado Springs.

Well, sometimes she’s knows it’s me and sometimes I’m a “nice lady who visits” but the key is she knows somebody’s visiting her. But I’ll guarantee that by the time I get to the car to leave, she’s forgotten anyone was there. LOL
Glad you were able to get your homework finished at a decent hour. Hope it was enough to make today a little easier.

If I couldn’t he’d have to reload all the software and would wind up deleting everything I had, all my aviation stuff, documents, everything. He was sweating.

Fort Riley has a lot of old buildings. Over the years I built nine of their newer buildings up on “Custer Hill”. I also rebuilt Kitty Drive for the heavy tactical vehicle access around the perimeter of Custer Hill.
The territorial capital building down below the hospital is great to visit.
Over the years I had occasion to train there as well. I was on a bluff over Camp Funston one day in the early 70s and got hit by a tornado while in the field. WOW.

My wife had just delivered our son. I accompanied my wife to her room. We had barely gotten in the room than we were both hurriedly taken back to the OB joining other new parents. All of us were presented with our new children to hold, as that was the “safest place in the Manhattan, KS Hospital),” during a tornado threat. Ever since he's been a Tornado threat and now, so have his 2 sons.
