But it's not just “sex”. Young people (both girls and boys) don't even seem interested in dating or in the other sex at all practically.
It's bizarre.
Let’s base our beliefs on sex-eschewing Asian females named Sam, because they represent our population at large, not.
intellectual conversation more stimulating and more pleasurable than having sex sometimes.—>maybe that explains her lack of success in the bedroom.
I’d hit that.
I would hit it before Laz gets the chance.
I don’t know either. But it seems to me those are two things that never before were possible in human culture, they have to have some sort of effect. Another possibility is the general acceptance of chemical birth control, I wonder what % had mothers that were on it and if it has any effect on their kids even though the mothers were off it for a while maybe.

My daughters are 21 and 20-year old smart, beautiful college students- neither has even had their first boyfriend or to my knowledge dated. My 16-year old son recently asked a girl out for the first time. Her parents freaked out and said she couldn’t start dating yet. It’s sad.
My experience in the last 10 or so years is nearly identical to your story.
good looking, smart, funny, kids who are 20ish and never even been on a date, much less had a steady boyfriend or girlfriend. And it’s not like they are trying and failing, or that they are turning down offers. The other sex doesn’t even seem to be on their radar, beyond friendship.
It’s like... elementary school before kids enter puberty, but extended near 20’ish. But they ARE entering puberty, maybe even earlier than ever, but it only seems to affect their bodies, and seems to have no effect on their attraction to the opposite sex as it used too.
Wow! Is that Florence Cathedral?
“Everyone is connected, but no one is connecting.”
Almost ubiquitous social media might possibly be a big part of it. Also along those lines this generation might be the first to not have to entertain themselves purely by their own imaginations, many seem to have been raised on internet video and electronic games. Maybe playing outside with friends was actually more important than just keeping fit and healthy.

They’ve been watching porn with their parents since they were toddlers, so no mystery there. In their opinion, only old people are still fascinated by sex. They prefer virtual relationships online that pose no risk of disease or entanglements. In this screwed up culture, who can blame them.
