Yolanda Flores took her son for a physical at the Mesa County Health Department on Monday, to prepare for his high school football season.
She ended up using her cellphone to record a verbal assault in the parking lot, laced with racial slurs and threats, because she wanted to document what was happening in case she was physically harmed.
In the video, which has gone viral on social media, her assailants accuse her of being a “wetback,” berate her for not speaking English, and accuse her of getting free services and giving Mexicans a bad reputation.

Interesting exchange between the Hispanic woman’s son, the other woman yelling and to his Mom...the kid’s embarrassed.
Inappropriate behavior...that was not the way to handle that situation. Gives everyone a bad name.

Well, it’s a fair accusation. You don’t take your kid to the county hospital for a physical unless you have no insurance and want the gubmint to pick up the tab.
Looking a the excerpt and your post, you would feel this was a clear case of SRB (sudden racist behavior).
Not so.
Yolanda left her dog in the car in Arizona summer heat, people becoming concerned about the animal (windows up or down, you never leave an animal in the heat like that), and people called the authorities because they were concerned about the welfare of the animal, and then they let her have it when she came out.
Not just a simple I’ll-attack-you-because-I’m-a-racist story. Even Yolanda admits they ranted at her because of her dog being left in the heat.

“They left Ahmed’s German shepherd in the car with the windows rolled down, which they now regret. While they were inside the building, others noticed the dog in the car and one of the county’s workers called Animal Services. Three women waited at the car in the parking lot, and Ahmed and Allison encountered them when they came out to check on the dog.
“They started yelling at us,” said Ahmed, who got the dog out of the car. “They followed us back to the building.”
When Yolanda came out of the building, the three women surrounded her and followed all of them back to the car, berating her for leaving the dog in the car and telling Ahmed that his dog was going to be taken away. Eventually the verbal assault turned nasty, with racial slurs being hurled at Yolanda, who remained silent.

[clearly referring to leaving the dog in the heat can be viewed as typical mexican behavior] “Just (expletive) want to get something for nothing. Well, get your ass a job if you don’t have one.” [of course this part is only one small part of the entire incident, involving three women but focusing on one only, totally glossing over the animal abuse going on]
I realize that this supposition is only based on a generalization, so as not to appear hypocritical to my previous post, here is the bon mot that justifies it: IMHO.
Agreed, the calling of animal welfare was warranted, so then, sit down, shut up, and let them get cited. So instead of a racist screecher getting in someones face, you have an animal nut thinking its ok to start verbally assaulting somone, surrounding them with two others in a threatening manner, then dropping a few generalities. The larger point is that this level of discourse is constantly derided by many on this board, unless of course, it fits our agenda. I submit that if this was three BLMs acting the same way about the animal first, then dropping a few white privilege bombs, the response would be different.
Cry me a river. Then swim across it back to Mexico.

#1. Only a moron would leave a GS dog in a car even if the windows were down.
#2. Why would the witnesses call animal control if the windows were all down?
#3. The article is one sided, as there are zero statements or comments from the multiple witnesses who called animal control.
My hunch is the windows were up or mostly up and in an attempt to divert and evade the situation, they made into this race thing.
Bottom line here is, one never should ever leave a dog like a German Shepherd in a vehicle by itself, in a public parking lot.
We don’t have a video of what happened before the dog abuser started filming with her phone....but, don’t let that stop you from your knee jerk reaction that some “poor Mexican was being abused”....
Nor your knee jerk reaction of defending some ass that was behaving in a manner that would get most people decked. You have just as much info as I do, and the only thing I see is three people advancing on a family in a threatening manner and yelling at them, whether Mexican or not.
That’s right. And I personally couldn’t care less if someone were called a name in this situation. Who gives a sh*t about that?
The big issue here is people leaving a dog like a GS in a unoccupied vehicle in a public parking lot. In my opinion, anyone who would do that should never ever be allowed to own a German Shepherd dog.

I think the video was to good and to clear and the voices very well understood. Most cell phone videos are not like this. I may be wrong but it seemed a staged event to me.

LOL...my thoughts exactly. All she said was her mom paid taxes...was a resident. Not that she was a citizen..
