Hillary Clinton admitted on Friday that she may have mischaracterized FBI Director James Comey's statements on her truthfulness during the investigation into her use of a private email server while secretary of State.
During an interview at the National Association of Black Journalists-National Association of Hispanic Journalists Convention, Clinton was asked if she had misrepresented Comey's conclusion in two recent interviews. "I was pointing out in both of those instances that Director Comey that my answers in my FBI interview were truthful," she said.
"I may have short-circuited it, and for that I will try to clarify," she added.

Would be interesting to see the video/audio of her interview with the FBI. Was Comey present at the interview? What questions were asked and her answers? The only thing we do know is the investigation into her SERVER and its use by her in State Department Business. Comey has testified to that to the HOUSE.
I do not think Comey has testified about her interview with the FBI.
Has it been established if she used a State Department e-mail address that would have been assigned to her by the IT Section as it does for everyone working for the State Department?
The crooked media will not report this, they are too focused on his ties today.

And I have said during the interview and in many other occasions over the past month that what I told the FBI, which he said was truthful, is consistent with what I have said publicly. So I may have short-circuited, and for that I will try to clarify, because I think Chris Wallace and I were talking past each other because, of course, he could only talk to what I had told the FBI, and I appreciated that. Now, I have acknowledged repeatedly that using two e-mail accounts was a mistake, and I take responsibility for that. But I do think having him say that my answers to the FBI were truthful, and then I should quickly add what I said was consistent with what I had said publicly, and that is really sort of in my view trying to tie both ends together.
The press release uses press reporter's words, from the recent past (post Wallace interview), to debunk Hillary's claim. The reporters are now on the hot seat too. They can stick with their past positions, or not.
A defense attorney asks challenging questions and then accepts a practiced answer. The press does this for HRC. For Republicans, the press acts like a prosecutor, rebutting every answer, sometimes over and over.

Hillary did not ever have a state department email address while she was SOS. She used her home brewed server exclusively, unlike any other SOS before her.

If it was not recorded then it becomes a she says; FBI says. Rather incompetent for the FBI not to record the interview.
