CNN reporter assigned to ths story said that directly. No way a crime, but of couse USSS is concerned about language that might incite a crackpot who miscontrues rhetoric.
I have my doubts that there were any official USSS contacts with the Trump campaign. I think CNN is taking off-business conversations, which occur all the time, and reprting them so people jump to the conclusion there was an official call on the Trump campaign by the USSS.
I had to laugh at the remark the USSS is aware of the remarks. Hello - there are 15-20 USSS on scene.
The two things are not polar opposites; nor are they mutually exclusive.
The Secret Service also talked to NeverTrumper Glenn “Stabby The Clown” Beck over his claimed desire to assassinate Trump.
Nothing came of that, they apparently believed Beck’s claim that he was talking about killing one of his staff rather than Trump, and he was just joking anyway.
And speaking of joking, how about H*****y’s comment about assassinating a certain foreign head of state...

Yes, I am the same way. Obviously he was not my choice and I made that known on this db. But, I am of the opinion that since he did actually win, and in an overwhelming way, that he does deserve my support all the way. But, you are right, it is a “freakin problem” to have to “try to stay optimistic”.

IMHO...The Clinton/Obama/Democrat media is in full blown panic mode. We, the people are being fed a bunch of hateful lies, relatove, DJT. Fact is: Trump is slaughtering Clinton, politically.....across the board. Give it another month or so....and, you all will see that I am right on the money!!! HRC is a massive failure candidate....period.....and her adoring media knows it!!!

Rudy was just on Fox News completely outraged at this. He was with Trump when Trump said it, and with him afterward when Trump got the news that it had turned into “a thing”. Trump was shocked.
