The House and Senate met in joint session yesterday to count the electoral votes in the 2004 presidential election and certify President Bush’s win over John Kerry.

Vice President Dick Cheney was presiding in his role as president of the Senate, overseeing as each state’s votes were withdrawn from mahogany boxes and totaled in a ceremony as old as the Constitution itself.

The routine tally went by in alphabetical order, state-by-state without event until the session reached Ohio.

Joint Session of Congress, Electoral College vote tally, January 6, 2005.

The Electoral College vote tally was interrupted by Democratic Congressmember Stephanie Tubbs of Ohio. Tubbs is the leader of a small group of Democrats who agreed to force House and Senate debates on voting irregularities in Ohio by mounting a challenge to the state’s 20 electoral votes that had secured President Bush’s reelection.

I was wondering what the Democrats must be planning in case of a Trump victory, and knowing how much they love to manipulate, abuse, re-write, and ignore the law; I figured they had to be looking into the Electoral College angle.

Be prepared for a pile of lawsuits, and legal maneuvers to thwart the will of the people.

Congress had better be prepared for a legal assault, unseen in history.

Another reason Trump is needed- how many of the GOP would fold, rather then fight them?

Google Melowese Richardson, who voted multiple times in Hamilton County, Ohio. She was a Democrat employee.

I just have a sense that we will have another scenario like we did in 2000. The election will not be decided by the voters. It will be decided by the court. And if Garland is on the court, by recess appointment or otherwise, it will mean that the Democrats will steal this election.

One of the things that bothers me, like the Supreme Court ObamaCare decisions, the Democrats were so confident of victory that you had to wonder if the fix was in. Well, the fix WAS in, and I think they're getting ready to fix this election.

But I'm just not sure how.
