American military drones monitored Islamic State militants loading up hundreds of cars, buses and trucks with fighters and civilians and fleeing the city of Manbij, Syria, on Friday, as Syrian rebels advanced and the extremists lost yet another stronghold.
On Wednesday, the Libyan city of Surt, held by the Islamic State for more than a year, also fell to pro-government militiamen, and the militants lost the headquarters from which they had ruled more than 150 miles of Libyan coastline.
The two new victories against the Islamic State, also known as ISIS or ISIL, could have a significant effect on the group’s efforts to penetrate the West.

I feel kinda guilty posting his pic, given he was just an Iraqi soldier and probably wasn't as evil as ISIS.
But the point must be made. Cross the US and you die!

If there were 2,000 vehicles, the normal strategy would be to take out the lead vehicles to cause a jam up on the road. Then hit them in the middle of the column and at the end, blocking any movement on the roads.
We did this with the Iraqi Republican Guard units in 1991 (until stopped by Colon Powell (Yes, Colon, as attached to an asshole).
With all points of movement clogged, ISIS would have to abandon much of its heavy armaments and smaller weapons/ammo in order to escape either on foot or by driving into the desert.
They would abandon (or kill) any civilian hostages that had with them because they were an albatross on their travel.
Obama let them escape again. Gee, I wonder if Gen. Allen is going to comment on this fiasco? Probably not. He’s so far up Obama’s ass that we might never see him again except at some rally blasting Trump for not winning the war against ISIS. /sarc
