IMO, it’s boring and will lose most after the first 3 seconds. Why did they use a woman who looks white rather than Hispanic? Major failure.

Why, for the sake of God, are we still pandering to Hispanics?

I actually like it except I would have preferred the text read by different people, her, and other middle class Mexican Americans and Hispanic Americans. This was like “Well ok this one conservative Hispanic woman likes trump, so what?” But a Hispanic guy grilling some meat, a young Hispanic 20-something, etc all supporting Trump, would have made more of a “LOTS of Hispanics want trump” impression.

“Why did they use a woman who looks white rather than Hispanic?”
“White” and “Hispanic” are not mutually exclusive categories. In fact, many Hispanics are White.
There are all kinds of Hispanics: White Hispanics, Black Hispanics, Indian Hispanics, Mestizo Hispanics, Mulatto Hispanics, etc. “Hispanic” is not really a racial category.

Peace through strength. George Washington repeated the ancient warning to us that “If you want peace, prepare for war”.

But the progressives say they have a better idea and that is to finance our sworn enemies at the expense of our own military.

This Texan of Hispanic ancestry thanks you for your correct and sensible post-most of us from old Spanish families are Mestizo-Caucasisn and Native American-Hispanic is an ethnic group-like any other and does indeed include a mix of all three races...

Um-yes, I’m an American of Hispanic ancestry-and no-I do not vote communist/democrat-and neither do any of my family or friends...

I’m not the only FReeper of Hispanic ancestry, either...

Why, for the sake of God, are we still pandering to Hispanics?

Showing an interest in getting their votes is pandering? To me, pandering is offering something for nothing, or an advantage not available to others. Am I wrong?

IMHO Trump should emphasize that he will be thankful for the vote of any and every American CITIZEN regardless of ethnic identity, race, sex, color, religion, political affiliation or any other group designation, except, of course, those who are members of criminal organizations such as Planned Parenthood.

You mean Anglos/WASPs? The ethnic group of mostly-Anglo-Saxon ancestry who came from England/Scotland/Ireland? I don’t think of them as “European” in the same sense as people from the continent itself-people in Europe at that time were pretty much of either mostly Latin ancestry-from Spain, France, Italy-or Germanic/Saxon-pretty much from every other country on the continent-but they were all “Europeans”...

Hispanics are European-our ancestors came from Spain starting in the 16th century-a lot of them were young men looking for an adventure and a life-they took Native women as wives-no different than the young men who came to Canada from France and did the same thing-that is how those ethnic groups got mixed-and recent studies of Native DNA show that a lot of tribes were already more Caucasian than were of Siberian/Asian ancestry-it blows away that stupid land bridge theory of migration...

I agree-I don’t consider even an American citizen who does not accept our constitution and wants to embrace the laws of some other country/system/religion an American in the real sense-like way too many Muslims-if they are not willing to assimilate, get them the hell out of my country...

Yes, not really a racial category but certainly a voting bloc.
