The word “activists” used in the context of this report is a euphemism. More suitable words would have been “thugs” or “rioters” or “Democrats”.
Oh Yes, they can restrain themselves, but why should they when they can riot and attack people with impunity? Trump needs to do a presser and announce that at all future rallies there will be a private defense force on the scene to prevent malicious attacks on his supporters. I’m sure he would have little trouble recruiting personnel who would be more than willing to do the job.
