For Paul Simon fans he is best known because of the song ´I do it for your love´ on which he played a wonderful harmonica solo.

He also went on tour with Paul and appeared at the ´Paul Simon special.

**The cause was complications from a fall,**

People like this die from a fall, and others run for president.

Absolutely one of the greatest musicians of the 20th & 21st century. He lit it up everywhere he played and in many, many different venues and styles.

One of the great improvisers: fluid, melodic, elegant harmonies.

He was an amazing musician who made a simple instrument sound like any instrument from the horn section. Throughout my life I always enjoyed to hear Toots’ melodies on the harmonica. It is the closest instrument to the human voice. Rest in peace.
